If those dongle didn't work , you would waste alot of money (ur maybe not much for you)
Just to be safe i bought 5 various brand dongle after the mini dongle had been lost , only 2 of them work

The connection degrade over time (input lag with 2 wiimotes ) . 5-6 months later , it only connect 1 wiimote (no input lag though) . I couldn't really complain since it has worked for me for 1 year then i lost it somewhere in my storehouse
Anyway , I recommend "class 1" USB dongle for multi-wiimotes . My "class 1" dongle work with 3 wiimotes without an issue , the 4th wiimote cause input lag though
I bought nine of them, so that shouldn't be a problem for me if one break. Also, if I play multiplayer, I usually play on my brothers Wii since we have multiple gamecube and Wii controllers.
But it was good to know your experience with that dongle Smile
I wonder if I could buy several of those $1 ones from ebay, and if one adapter cannot handle the speed of 2 wiimotes, I use 1 adapter per wiimote. This is still cheaper than getting those expensive ones. i wonder dolphin is smart enough to detect from multiple adapters.

Not sure how your PC will behave with multiple BT adapters though

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but i'm having some problems with this dongle and was wondering if the OP could give some advice.

For some reason this dongle doesn't discover the wii controller.

I've got an unbranded wii u controller (with built in motion plus), currently i only have the windows update bluetooth drivers installed. I tried using the Toshiba BT stack drivers but that didn't work either. You think it might be the controller?
(The controller works with my Wii u).

Thanks in advance.

Yeah , 3rd party wiimotes rarely work with Dolphin (chance like 1 in 20) , most of them don't work or work & cause some issues : button not response , random disconnect

Ah that sucks. I guess i'll stick with playing it on the WII for the time being. Kinda annoying playing Skyward Sword on 480p.
I was woundering If this dongle would work as well. Everytime I see a dongle used it is always the rounded one but I like the look of this better lol. (I have never used one so I'm not experienced with such devices..)
