HLE is still pretty much the same for SMG2, was hoping to not have to use LLE.

SMG2 is a Zelda ucode game (different from the AX ucode being worked on right now). Nobody's actively touched the Zelda ucode parts of Dolphin in a while. delroth has plans to do so eventually; look to 4.0 for that.
AFAIK delroth dropped his plans to rewrite anything further than AX HLE :p
3.5 x86 have problem with NMH 2 (maybe because of speedhack), randomly freeze within first seconds/minutes of game
