Did the GC part get merged, or was it just the current version will get added each time delroth pushes a new version of new AX HLE? btw delroth, when you re-added the old ax hle and changed it to new ax hle, does that mean that you are ready to start working on Wii Ax games, or will you still be trying to fix the elusive GC New AX HLE bugs first? At any rate, nice job so far!
It says in the commit description:
Quote:Only AX GC is merged so far, the new Wii AX development will be done in a
separate branch when I'll start working on it.
There are still a few AX GC bugs remaining, but overall a lot less games have
sound issues than before.
So from this, and his comments here, I take it he'll keep working on fixing GC bugs then start working on Wii. And then Zelda uCode HLE?
@SonofUgly Sorry didn't notice until today.
Now for what I was trying to post earlier. My internet went down so I was trying out Pacman world 3 and found a rather game breaking bug in the HLE audio back end. Note: This does not happen in LLE recompiler or the interperator. It only happens in the HLE back end. It also happens in the NEW AX HLE revisions as well as in master. When you get to the fourth level, when you have to shut down the first mega syphon, you will come to a point where you must go down an elevator to complete raising the platform to get to the mega syphon. Now the problem is that no matter what you do when you enter that elevator, and regardless of what you do at the bottom of the tower, you cannot get back up to the top of the tower. There should be a cutscene that presents some elevator noises, and the the door will open with Pacman on the elevator's platform. This will happen only if you use LLE recompiler or interperator. If you use HLE on master or in the New AX HLE branch, you should get the following: The elevator will go down to the bottom of the tower as expected. Try to go back in the elevator, the cutscene will play, and then the camera will remain fixed on a closed elevator door with a green light on it. If you move back a few steps, the camera will pan to the bottom of the tower, showing Pacman still at the bottom of the tower. This bug prevents you from completing level 4. This bug does not occur with LLE. Hope you like a challenge delroth. I was wondering if maybe this bug is related to that DMA timing you were talking about when you were looking at the Pacman world 2 intro music bug. Hope you can get it fixed quickly. This is the memory card I m using with a save right beside the elevator door I am talking about. If you want to test this bug, download the memory card from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?qq12ndpddnjvoqt
then load Pacman world 3 and load the first save point to go to level 4. if you look around with the camera pan view, you should see a door with a green light above it, it should open VERTICALLY, NOT HORIZONTALLY. Go into it and then make sure that the elevator goes to the bottom of the tower. Walk out of the elevator so the door closes, and then walk back into to the elevator. The bug that will then occur should be similar to my description above.
project zero 2 wii edition pal (aka fatal frame 2 ) :
voices during cutscenes are now fixed , there are NO more desynced or slow motion voices , compare this to old hle especially during the cutscene where you approach the first Torii gate the voice become hoarse due to slowed down speed of voice, during other cutscenes voice become asynchronous .
used revision 3.0.852 new AX HLE

Which bios, you are using? If it is the EUR (Pal), it had been fixed a while ago in old HLE.
The GC USA bios still doesn't work in HLE (at moment only LLE works)
Will the new AX branches be based off of 3.5 now?
Does the new HLE need any activation? Cause I tried it with MK: Double Dash and it didn't work. (I saw a post that said it just became low, but the sound was ok, but it's normal for me.)
I'm using 3.0-853, if that helps.
Yes I searched through this thread to find something about this.
