no prob delroth, and also, when you were saying to look for the activating ax hle in logging, were you referring to the logger that runs when dolphin is running and is activated via the view button in the toolbar of dolphin? because i looked in there and the only thing it said was activaating HLE:HLE Applauncher complete. note that last but was off top of my head, will have to check.
Edit: it was applauncher initialized, this was both on new Ax hle and master, plus hashless.

Edit: Great, getting a crash once in a while from Paper Mario again, gonna have to check with different revisions.
Pushed 3.0-849: fix for volume mixing with volume >= 1.0. Tomb Raider Legends music now outputs correctly.

Could someone try to sum up the bugs that were reported and confirmed by at least one other tester affecting GC games with new-ax-hle? And possibly test these bugs with 3.0-849? Thanks!

3.0 849: Those issues bellow, are issues present in 3.0 844 and 3.0 849.
Metroid Prime 2, Power Beam, morph ball bomb sound effects still not fixed, also when you change Stereo to Sunrround ingame, those problems of Power Beam, morph ball bomb sound effects are much more notable.

Resident Evil 2 bullet drops problem with XAudio2 still not fixed.

Those issues bellow, are issues present in 3.0 844 that I don't know if they are fixed in 3.0 849, because I don't have those games:

Try to reproduce issue with the latest version before reporting. I don't have much time ATM and I can't really take time to dump 5 games just to find that I already fixed the issue.

I also wasn't able to reproduce your Metroid Prime 2 issue. Either it does not happen at the beginning of the game or it does not happen with ALSA.
