Full Version: New AX HLE: what is it and how does it work?

Tested with XAudio2 48000 Hz:

Metroid Prime 1 & 2 GC BGM&Sound Effects have improved, no volume issue anymore.

But after some time in Metroid Prime 2 Sound Effects stops (and don't come back), Sound Effects on Metroid Prime 1 is fine.

And After some time in Metroid Prime 1 BGM stops (and don't come back), BGM on Metroid Prime 2 is fine.

Without those issues above, sound is working perfectly.

Eternal Darkness volume issues are also fixed.

Echo sound effect of Resident Evil 4 doesn't work in HLE, only work in LLE.

With DSound:

Metroid Prime 1 BGM some times don't play, but it come back.(don't know if it stop for complete like XAudio 2)

Metroid Prime 2 work the same of XAudio2.
Has anyone had luck with Wii audio?

You can't enable something that hasn't been coded yet

So, it's still broken as he's implementing the rewritten audio code?
In REmake save room music still has missing instruments, but its a bit better than before (just a bit).

Edit: Sry, did i say just a bit better?
I was using wrong build... With dolphin-new-ax-hle-3.0-823 Its alot better, maybe even perfect....

It only compiles a few branches. I guess the one's he's manually told it to compile.

Pretty much. He broke AXWii while reimplementing AX, so now he has to reimplement AXWii as well. (I think.)

Oh? Can the others be found anywhere? Entering urls for them manually just seems to 404.
