Seem to be having audio issues with this game. It crackles/stutters even though game is running at 100% speed. I've tried OpenGL and Direct3d. Game by default is using DSP HLE for audio, have tried setting it to LLE recompiler but that makes it worse.

I've also tried setting audio backend from xaudio2 to openal and upping latency, nothing I've tried seems to fix the issue. Framerate remains constant and smooth, so I'm not sure what else to try.

Have tried several 4.0 Dolphin versions all x64, even the latest 4.0-952 revision. I've noticed that all versions after 3.5-33 for me horribly break the audio.

Specs below.
OS: Windows 8.1 x64
CPU: Intel i5-2500k
Ram: G-Skill 8GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 780
That's strange. Try setting the frame limiter to audio and see if the game's doing something weird with that.

Thanks for the suggestion. With frame limiter set to audio still getting crackling with DSP set to HLE, however using LLE recompiler with frame limit set to audio largely fixes up the audio issues now. Smile
Alright. If you could be bothered to do so; would you mind getting audio dumps from both HLE and LLE recompiler so that an issue report can be made and I can compare since I have the game here too. I never noticed problems, which is why I'm curious.

Edhel

Made two short audio dumps of the title screen with both HLE and LLE recompiler, this is with frame limiter set to audio for both which fixes the issue for me on LLE.

Thank you very much will investigate.

edit: Both audio dumps sound fine, I don't know what this means though.

That's weird. I've double checked the audio dumps I've uploaded and for me one definitely stutters or crackles. Thanks for reporting the issue though.
Huh, well. I don't hear it in the dumps; but I definitely hear it in game. I blame Linux for playing the audio file too well.

I was running this game with Dolphin 4.0.2 and getting the problem of the map not appearing. I found the article "Pixel Processing Problems: On the Road to Pixel Perfection" so I switched to Dolphin 4.0-1192. Now the game won't work at all for me. I'm just getting a black screen and no audio. I have the "Ignore Format Changes" option unchecked.
