i did it actually... But it didn't work. im using 4.0-6928
Maybe i'll explain step by step what i had done to see what I'm doing wrong:
1-Started the emulator, gone to: graphics configuration>hacks.
2-Unchecked "Store EFB copies texture only"
3-Moved to: graphics configuration>Advanced
4-Check "Free Look" closed graphics configurations, and closed via "close" button.
5-Started the emulation.
6-In the game i loaded a save, then moved the camera via Shift+W,A,S,D to closest to the ground trying to not trespassing the polygons.
7-Moved to emulator GUI and then again to graphics configuration>hacks.
8-Checked "Store EFB copies texture only" and closed via "close" button again.
9-Moved back to the game window and shift+R to reset view.
10-Game does not present any change.
After this, i started doing some test on EFB functions under >hacks window and i don't see any change.

Use efb to texture and the default settings, all that stuff are old. But yeah, i forgot that the hazy stuff is a effect and can't be fixed, only hacked around like you pointed.
It can't be hacked around anymore, since the upgrade for "paletted efb copies"(the fix for the twilight princess minimap). The old hack worked, because efb to texture displayed garbage for a certain full screen efb copy, and you could make it so that the garbage is empty/transparent. In order to get the same effect now, you would have to do something different. And no, i don't know exactly what you would need to do for this.

Well this is unexpected... someone should update the wiki about it.
So anyone knows a hack/exploit/fix for this? also can someone show me another settings i should tweak to get better graphics on this game?
I really want to learn more about this emulator so i can get better results on other games (looking at Mario galaxy 2 box)
if you want the wiki to be updated, you should go do it yourself...such is the nature of a wiki
tweaks that can improve graphics can be found in the "graphics" settings panel under the enhancements tab. the most noticeable ones are AA and IR improvements
In the meantime the best fix would probably be to use the last development version before the paletted EFB copies merge.
I just use efb to ram on all games and not have to worry about it.
KainSkyler: Ten days late here, but I had absolutely no issues with the EFB effect being low-resolution on my last (post-palleted-EFB-copies-fix) playthrough of the game. (I've never touched freelook in my life and I don't plan to.) Maybe you just didn't have Scaled EFB Copy checked?
Does the Wii version run at 60 FPS?
