The "File Monitor" log if enabled is causing the slowdown.
I tried with all other logs on and only File Monitor log off and everything was fine. Then i tried with everything off and only File Monitor log on and the slowdown appeared again.
I think the solution is to actually turn off logs by default... I guess. Or move filemon logs to a higher level.

Dayum that's weird, may I ask why having such a feature is defaulted to on if it only causes a detriment? That's weird to me.
It's not supposed to cause a detriment, obviously. Two pull requests have been done to try and alleviate it from what I can tell.
You can keep the log configuration always visible and disable all logs as soon as you start Dolphin.
Getting this weird issue with 1080. The first time I play it with a fresh Dolphin installation, it runs flawlessly. I get on average 150-200 fps if I unlock the frame-rate, otherwise a perfect flat 60 fps. Then if I quit the game and go to play it again, suddenly my performance plummets and I am stuck around 45-50 fps at most. What is going on? This doesn't happen in any other game and my dump for 1080 is perfect.
Well figures. The configuration for the Dolphin Logging menu is broken. EVERY time I close the panel, it decides to reset the Master Log checkbox and re-enable it. Also, if I click the button to toggle all boxes, even if all boxes are empty already, then it does nothing the first time and pressing it a second time re-enables all logs. This to me means the thing is broken and is really enabling logs all the time.
Going back into the menu and toggling all logs after loading up 1080, fixed my performance problem.
Please guys, this must not be a difficult fix. Get it in the development builds ASAP. Make logging completely disabled by default.
