I have sound distortion as soon as the opening starts, using "DSP LLE on Thread" doesn't help. Any other solution??
I remember playing this game for a while some time ago and I didn't have the sound problem, was it introduced recently??
Thanks for any help.
Could you narrow down when it started? If so, we can help fix the bug from the build it was introduced.

Can't really say when it started. The game has been on my play list for a long time and I know I played a couple of hours sometime and didn't had that problem.
I tried some random builds, 3.5 2400, 4.0 rev around 460, 3000, 3200 and the latest and got the same problem.
Tried using DSPLLE on separate thread and openAL but didn't help either.
Have you tinkered with game properties settings like vbeam? If yes set them to default.
Haven't touched any game settings.
I never used them before but I just checked and changing to DSP LLE Recompiler or Interpreter solved the problem. Slower but definitely playable.
Hey I picked Rune Factory up and decided to give it a play through and last year when I started it I was using Dolphin 4.0-1342 x64 and it seemed pretty decent with a little slowdown here and there on cut scenes. This time I launched it with the latest revision "Dolphin 4.0-5815 x64" and I noticed in the menus the characters faces and body textures are missing from their models. I figured if that was happening perhaps other things might not be working right either.
What is the best revision to use for playing this game at this time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Try messing around with settings to see if you can't fix the faces in the latest builds. If you can't bisect down which build caused the regression so it can be fixed.
Its fine now, I had some settings in the ini from an older revision messing it up.
