i passed this game with the last dolphin rev (4.0.1). aside from the random slowdowns the game works perfectly,
mercenaries its way more enyojable,
its really a blast.
btw my specs are this
i5 2500k @ 4 ghz
2x2 GB GSkill cl7 1600mhz
HH 6670 (this graphic card sucks!)

I have obtained the GeckoCodes cheat "Levitate/Descend" and activated it in the game. I can walk through walls with this cheat but anybody know how I actually enable the levitation and descend option? It says:
code based on zits
Right- set execution for levitate
Left- set execution for descend
Up- execute
down- return

I'd rather not use my Wiimote to play this.. is it playable with an XB360 controller & if so how would I go about setting this up..?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Disconect the wiimote if you wanna use Gc/X360, just do a Alt + F5 to disconect the wiimote.
& about the RE4UHD it looks amazing :-) I already pre-ordered it on steam, can't wait to play this on steam xD .

I know this was touched on once or twice but want to mention, for those experiencing the slowdown with rainy weather or whatnot, the switch to OpenGL does in fact solve the issue. Certainly can't say I know why, so I suppose there's the possibility that it may not work for some setups...that said, also running dual core, idle skip, jit, hle, vsync in fullscreen, 3xIR, ignore EFB delta, EFB to tex, fast cache, disabled xfb, fast depth calc and openmp. But none of those were changed from before for this issue.
On the topic of the UHD version on steam...well, they have a PR guy of sorts going on with demoes on the steam discussion forums. Between that and other things, we've determined the increase to 60fps is causing all hardcoded animations to double in speed, something they chose not to fix(Q-Loc, Polish porting studio that did DmC for the PC last year). And this game due to all it tried to cram in 10 years ago on a GameCube, has a whoooole lot of them. Also a whole lot of graphic effects present in the GCN/Wii versions, and even the X360 version it was based on, are missing. They claim to now be fixing those but of course only after real people said something(meaning, in the last week). The official line on things like sped up animations is that "it's only noticeable when compared with other versions". Basically the decree to shut up and take it. And no decent PC gamer will do that...the forum is now pretty much filled with slobbering holdouts. I had the game pre-ordered but as a capcom rep more or less told me directly "too bad"(he locked the thread shortly after my write-up, the only locked thread on that entire forum), I've cancelled it. Capcom is still Capcom apparently. Besides, the speed-ups really are that jarring(there's videos in said locked thread). Even that rainstorm which I got to this thread because of plays out at double speed. Just shoddy. Which is why I'm now playing it this way instead. With a texture pack from here, so thank-you to the user who ported that. Better than the minimal job Q-Loc did by far.

Something happened in recent builds and now the intro cutscene with Leon in the car only runs about 15fps with OpenGL, where it used to run full speed. The last revision to run the cutscene full speed was 4.0-3657, so this issue started with 3659, removing the option to enable or disable bounding box calculation.

Yeah, Capcom is stupid and enables bounding box and then does absolutely nothing with it. A work-around is being looked into.

Are you sure the bounding box does nothing in RE4? I suspect it's used for a subtle effect.
