(07-23-2013, 07:43 AM)Napper Wrote: [ -> ]Just finished Resi 4 on Dolphin. Fantastic support and it runs smoothly (30FPS) and sounds great through out.

However in the credits for the game (when they display the villager photos accompanied by that awesome orchestral piece ) the audio is popping/cracking a lot.

Strange how for the entire game the BGM and sound effects were clear and coherent. What is it about the last song that
makes the audio fall apart?

Note: I have tried different audio backends and LLE recompiler. The game runs 100% and doesn't slow.

Thanks!

EDIT: It seems when i tried Dolphin 3.0 (official release) this problem was solved. I presume its a glitch with delroth's new Ax-HLE implementation.
I don't think so , I just finished RE4 WII edition few days ago as well, using the latest dolphin 3.5 svn 1650.

My rig is
cpu 4670k oc4.2g
gpu gts250 512mb
ram ddr3 1333 4g

game setting
hle xaudio
dx9 internal resolution 2x

even with a oced 4.2g 4670k, there are still some occasional slowdown from time
to time, for example ,the fps will drop in chapter 2-1, where you are
get out a cottage and go around a dock at a raining night. However the ending music is fine, I
suppose the new AV-HLE is not the cause of this problem, and it is known that BGM will likely become chopping if the PC cann't handle the game at full speed.

Hey mate if you change to openGL instead of directx I guarantee you won't have that slowdown. Your rig should handle it fine just as long as the AA or AF isn't cranked too high.

Directx slows for me as well in that part but not with opengl.
I have uploaded an example of the problem here if someone cares to take a look.

Would you please upload a zipped up save game to media fire too? And instructions on how to get it from the save game to the last song.
Absolutely. I have included a savestate (whereby the cinematic is highlighted) and also my actual save inside the Wii user folder (in-case the savestate doesn't work).
There is a "Readme" file attached to give a quick instruction how to access the last song. Thanks!

Suzuka, are you using savestates? Have you checked the MD5 hash of your ISO on redump.org?

Does redump.org have entries for Wii discs? I've visited there many times, even contributed, but there's never been a section for Wii discs, only GC, PS2, etc.

On the other hand, there are lots of posts about Wii discs in the forum there. What gives?
Use GameTDB.com instead.
Guys,I have some problem, when i play re4,after the “clearing code cache”,the FPS slow down as 20,although the version 3.5-1682 Removing the 'Clearing code cache' ,but when i use this version, the problem still appear.do anyone know the solution?thank you
(07-12-2013, 07:24 AM)hyperspeed Wrote: [ -> ]Tested with the lastest build (dolphin-master-3.5-1591-x64) after " Clearing block cache" message appear, the FPS will drops to 23 in some areas of RE4.

In RE0 the FPS drops to 14 on almost any area making it unplayable ( even the doors animations are slow, running with 33 at 36 FPS)

Edit: This is the same issue reported on Issue 5946 and Issue 5666

You guys should quote this info on the wiki of RE0&RE4
i have this problem too,is any solution to fix this?
