Is there a way to enable the emulated wiimote's speaker (hide-and-seek part)?
Well, just use LLE. AX HLE for Wii is very experimental ^^
LLE didn't enable it, already tried.
What/where is AX HLE?
If LLE doesn't work I doubt the new HLE will, did you check to see if "alternate wiimote timing" was enabled in properties? If it is then the speaker won't work.

When you say emulated what do you mean? If you are using an emulated wiimote you can't use the speaker anyway XD

I just thought that the emulator would output the audio through the normal speakers anyway, however I found an option on the game to disable wiimote speaker, so I got the thing covered anyway.

Mute the WiiMote speaker.
