Good morning, afternoon and evening.

base on all the forum i read, its seems no one talking about playing the game using Dolphin 5.0 version which im using it currently. and yes i have black screen problem(the game doesnt run), but when i tried older version(4.0.2), its worked. LOL! anyone know how to fix for the 5.0(latest) version? did i missed something? Huh Huh Huh

Le spec :

gtx 1060
8gb ram
The Wiki needs to be edited, as AA and EFB Skipping disable the piano from working.

I know this is old but I just started playing this game. and I am having a problem with the eng patched having text overlapped when taking a picture of ghost.

Have you tried the latest development version?
Hi guys

I'm using old version of Dolphin too ,on newer versions always have black screen bug. Works fine, so no problem Big Grin

To play piano sequences i use mouse. it is almost impossibile to do it with controller:

As I said in another thread, the cause of the bug is your pirated hack improperly setting the region.
Region setting works fine on older versions of emulator but wrong on never?
Oh, nevermind... Big Grin
As i said above: It works fine on older version so no problem Smile
Yes, that absolutely can happen, especially with a romhack like this. When targeting an old build of Dolphin, they can make assumptions that Dolphin 3.0-409 is doing something that is correct, when in reality the Wii does something completely different. We fix that behavior, now the patched ISO no longer works on newer builds of Dolphin. Not because Dolphin is doing anything wrong, but because the ISO itself is broken.

This has happened before with other features, where something working is broken by better emulation due to other circumstances.

I don't mean to sound angry, but, wouldn't you be annoyed if you worked hard on something and someone suddenly says to go use an ancient version for a reason they don't really understand?

At last! Thank you for your explanation. I, less than average user (using Dolphin to play two... no, three games only), i've been looking for this kind of answer soooooo long (i used to be on old forum), and it was always "try newer Dolphin version" or "use development build".
I fully understand your annoyment. I really do. But what i supposed to think when "wise people" didn't even bother to explain where the problem lies to someone like me, who's not involved in developement?
Anyway, thanks again for explanation Smile
For anyone experiencing text "corruption" for the English patch, this game has a very weird way of fixing this. In order for the text to display properly, "GPU Texture Decoding" must be turned on. Texture Cache Accuracy doesn't matter. Then, either you must set Anisotropic Filtering to anything but 1x or up the resolution from native. For some reason, it doesn't play nice on Vulkan, but OpenGL and DXD11 work fine. This bug only appears to occur with the patch. The Japanese text doesn't have this issue.

I hardpatched the ISO myself using Wiimms ISO Tools.
