This game has strange issues. If dual-core is enabled, it randomly freezes when creating a save state. But if dual-core is disabled, it freezes often when switching between window mode and full screen mode on the menu screen. I'll use only a single core for now. The performance is acceptable even if it doesn't run at full speed all the time.

The photo magnus issue is a minor issue compared to freezing when creating a save sate. It's the worst time to freeze. As for Skip EFB Access from CPU, it doesn't matter whether it helps preventing the photo magnus issue because the game freezes when creating a save state anyway.
Oh. I never create save states, so that is why I never experienced the issue. I am not 100% certain if that is considered a bug or not but you should file it away as one and let the powers to be decide:

Have you tried "External Frame Buffer - Enabled" at those points in the game, like the wiki suggests, to remedy this?
just when I enable it so it is all the time the game flashes

Hey guys, have been playing this game for a while now, I have to ask-
from the wiki "DSP HLE results in poor audio quality"

I played around with HLE and LLE and didn't notice much from a couple of hours of playing.
Anyone knows exactly where HLE goes wrong? It seems at the very least decent and not broken.
Some time ago I played through all of disc one with old-HLE and I don't remember the audio being wonky,
but that was on an awful PC with very occasional slowdowns, so I can't be sure.

Also, "Cache Display Lists" makes some enemies bug in their appearance (at least in the first game areas).
I'd like to add this to the game wiki, but I'm currently under OS X where I only have the OpenGL back-end. Might matter.
The same might also happen in the Origins game, but I can't make sure since I do not have that one.
The HLE problems are fixed in the newest revisions

Right. I was only wondering what was wrong in this game in earlier builds, but since someone listed it on the wiki I'm sure there was some issue.
