But but.. all the cheat does is allow for the built-in saving system to be accessed at all times rather than only at save points(save flowers) Big Grin it is essentially 'the real thing' !
Saves outside of save points just get listed as "debug" saves since there is no scripted description/location, but work without issue.
And savestates are far more reliable than what people seem to be saying on the forums.
Thanks everybody for the information. I use save states regularly in other games and have no issue. It's very convenient especially when I want to switch between 2 states.

Another question for who don't have the freezing issue. You don't use a camera, right? I often use the camera, and the photo magnus will display on the loot screen which, I believe, causes freezing if dual-core is enabled.

Hey, just an idea, have you tried 'Skip EFB Access from CPU' and see if it helps with the photo magnus issues?
I used it on a slower computer to speed up all things magnus/deck related, not sure if it messes up other things, could be worth a try.
But I didn't use camera magnus so YMMV.

So savestates are officially supported? Sorry about that I must be living in the past. Such are the ways when you get older :p

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think that is related. I might try it if I have time.

I don't know what officially supported means but I think it is a basic feature for emulators. It should work 99% if not 100% of the times.
Cheats have been known do so cray things. The fact is your code is related to saves and that is congruent with your issue. This cannot be ignored in my experience. Try disabling the code, loading a memory card save and see if the issue persists

That is so not how it works. As the systems trying to be emulated become more complex, savestates become more and more difficult. Thinking Wii games should have reliable savestates because NES games have it is gross oversimplification. Even N64 emulators have savestate issues.

Hey, I was the one who brought op the cheats. Original poster who had issues did not use any cheats.
I only brought up the 'save anywhere' cheat as an alternative to save states, it was only a suggestion.
It just makes it so that save is permanently enabled in the menu, even when not scripted.
This does not make for any issues: it just permanently enables the in-game feature.

The dual-core / photo magnus issues which were the original problem are an entirely different matter, not related to cheats.
Agreed. I mentioned before that I didnt sell any magnus so I cannot speak to that but the OP did mention that it is still crashing in other scenarios.
