Thank you for your help!

I've started looking into it, and for now i can only confirm that disabling dual core and allowing cpu efb access does not fix the issue. The game hard crashes the "gamecube", it freezes with a constant buzzing(?) noise.

I think i'm going to do someting evil, i'm going to use cheats. The fight is way too long to just narrowing it down to the version that works.
Ok, i think i have the problem: Defer EFB Copies to RAM. I got past the problem once, but i think it was random, like 1 out of 7. After disabling Defer EFB Copies to RAM, i couldn't get it to freeze, i didn't even force efb access to be enabled.

Can anybody confirm this? If anybody confirms this, i will create a pull request to disable the setting for the game.

PS: My theory is that the effect that darkens the background after the fight, while the one dialog line is not confirmed yet, is related to this. I got the impression that the effect changed after disabling the option.

It worked!! Thank you so much for your help!

So in the end, I disabled dual core and unchecked "Store EFB copies to texture only" and "Defer EFB Copies to RAM". I also updated Dolphin to v.5.0-9986.

Thank you again!!
Is disabling dual core required with "Store EFB copies to texture only" and "Defer EFB Copies to RAM" disabled?

I can't confirm or deny that. But if you want to play the game, i would recommend using Dolphin 5.0-9633, since the update after that broke the cpu efb access for the game. If your computer is fast enough, it should work fine with single core + Store EFB copies to texture only disabled + Defer EFB Copies to RAM disabled + Skip EFB Access from CPU disabled*. I recently played through the game with that version and only had one visual issue(on one screen in the whole game, in some lave cave).

*You need to edit the config file to force this setting, because Dolphin forces Skip EFB Access from CPU to be enabled. This(setting enabled) breaks the menu, and causes flickering on the magnus that you can use while running around. If you can't edit the config file, or dont't want to, open the config after starting the game and change the setting there.
Hi, I'm testing the game with version 5.0-11333, the game works fine, some graphic flaws that you notice when you make the character walk on the map.
I use Direct3D 12.
My pc has this configuration:
Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
Intel core i9 9900k 3.60 GHz
Ram: 32 Gb ddr4 2400
Video card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb
It is only necessary to adjust these graphic defects well.
I noticed that those graphic problems were of the resolution.
Putting it at 4: 3 they fix it, there is to fix for the 16.9, I tried to put the Gecko codes, but it tends to throttle in the fights.
With the latest version of Dolphin there is a music problem in the game.
5.0-11501
This problem also causes problems to level up characters.
I can't continue and I get a message that I can't read and the game crashes.

I went back to a version of 2 weeks ago, and it works, for the moment I don't update until the bug has been fixed.

I am using:
intel i5 2500K
RX 480
16GB RAM

Dolphin Emulator 5.0 Stable and no changes in any configurations, but Audio is DSP LLE recompiler.

I have a Save right after the start where the goose are.
The game runs at 26-29fps, no matter what i change.
The sound is stuttering.
When i open the card-menu, it runs fine. When i tab out of the game and back into it, the game drops to 7fps when i open the card-menu.

So i guess it is not important if i run the game at native resolution or 3x. I just have to find a specific setting i have to change, so the game runs fine. But does anybody have a clue what i can change?
Or should i switch to another version of dolphin?

EDIT:
Got it to with those steps
1. Download vanilla Dolphin 5.0
2. Download Dolphin v.5.0-9986, copy files into Dolphin-Folder
3. Delete everything in ?:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator, but the folder named GC
4. In Dolphin Settings disable "Enable Dual Core"
5. In Dolphin Settings->Audio select DSP LLE Recompiler
6. In Dolphin Graphics->General:
  • Backend Direct3D 11*
  • Adapter: Select your Graphics Card
  • Aspect Ratio: Auto, Enable V-Sync, Fullscreen

7. In Dolphin Graphics->Enhancements :
  • Internal Resolution 3x
  • Anti-Aliasing: None
  • Anisotropic Filter: 1x
  • Post-Processing: None
  • Enable Scaled EFB Copy
  • Uncheck Per-Pixel Lighting
8. In Dolphin Graphics->Hacks:
  • Uncheck "Skip EFB Access from CPU"
  • Uncheck "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only"
  • Uncheck "Defer EFB Copies to RAM"
  • External Frame Buffer (XFB)-> Leave "Store XFB Copies to Texture Only" checked
9. Right click on Game->Properties:
  • Uncheck "Enable Dual Core"
Now it works fine. Nice Restolution, No Sound-Problems, No Slowdowns anywhere.
My only problem is, that i can't get the Widescreen Gecko Code to work. It's my first time using Dolphin and maybe i am using the Gecko Code in general wrong!? I copied the code into:
Right click on game->properties->Gecko Codes->Add New Code...->Name: Wide->Code: Paste the code.
Do i have to enable to disable anything now? I played around with the settings in Dolphin->Graphics, but then i get a black bar at the left site, with a cloud and flowers over it.
