Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

The PAL version config for this game is either missing or not configured properly.
Copied over the settings from GUTE52 to GUTP52 manually and it seems to work so far.

Seem to be more a few other games that are missing their PAL equivalent settings.

My framerate drops massively when climbing/landing as Venom, but only if I'm looking at the spot I landed/climbing at. I've tried manipulating the graphic settings but nothing helps.

Probably EFB Peeks/Pokes? Try turning on "Skip EFB Access from CPU"

I have the same problem, except Dolphin actually crashes and closes, it doesn't just lag. The start's fine, it loads up perfectly, but after it switches to playing as venom (after you beat the first few spider man missions) it get awry. I've tried a few times and I've noticed that it doesn't crash until I climb or land with him. Seeing as how you do this a lot throughout the game, if I can't fix this hiccup it's unplayable. I tried the "Skip EFB Access" option and nothing changed. I'm running 4.0-9426 on OSX

I am having this exact same problem but I'm using 5.0 and still it crashes. and I'm using it on windows and I tried "skip EFB Access" and all it did was lower my game's speed and preformance

Same here! i am running Dolphin 5 on latest OS X El Capitan on a Retina MacBook Pro 15".

This game doesn't work at all, tested in 5.0-2538, US version (game ID GUTE52). Why is this considered playable?

It crashed everytime I tried to run.

Although I'm unsure of the reason for crashing, every time I change to Venom, I play for a short while, less than 30 seconds typically, then Dolphin crashes.
Is there anything that I can do to avoid this?

Does anyone know where I can get a 100% completed save. i cant find any and I find it really dumb to do so much for a costume. if anyone knows a file, please respond. Thanks
