The widescreen option doesn't currently work correctly. When widescreen is enabled the game still displays in 4:3 and is squished horizontally.

Dolphin's aspect ratio graphics setting is set to "Auto" as suggested on the wiki page.

This may be a regression in the auto AR code, as I believe this had worked when I had tested the various games with internal AR settings. I'll eventually take another look and update the Wiki appropriately.

Setting the Force 16:9 AR option should account for this.

This indeed enables widescreen.

I hope you can fix the "auto" option for new players.

Created an account just to ask this question....but I can't make a thread unless I have 1000 posts? It's just a simple question and I don't want to dedicate so much just to get some help.

Looking for a way to spawn weapons with commands or something. I want to be able to play the story and use weapons that aren't normally on the map. Anyone know how? TS2 had a cheat that gave you all weapons at once, but FP doesn't seem to have anything like that. I'd be happy with even a command prompt or something. Anyone mind helping me out?

You can, but just not in this subforum.

Any time you have transparency effects taking up huge portions of the screen, GPU performance bottoms out hard. This is caused by something called overdraw, where pixels have tons of overlapping information that needs to be processed, usually caused by transparency effects. Instead of the GPU only doing a few light calculations per pixel, it has to do several more, drastically increasing the cost to render. The more pixels the effects take up, the more severe the performance hit. Not a lot you can do about that.
Is there no way to deal with this still? Really makes the game meh to play when any type of explosion or particle spam happens in the game.
Hi, the game continues with some slowdowns, audio chopping and FPS drop when throwing a grenade. I use the latest development version of Dolphin.

I've done several configuration changes and it doesn't change the emulation. I hope they fix this
