Every change that ends up in Dolphin gets added in a development build. A major build doesn't add anything on top of the development versions that come before it. Unless we for some reason decide that it's fine to leave this unfixed for 5.0, it will be fixed *before* 5.0.

No, you haven't wasted our time. By pointing out that PR 3315 causes this problem, you've made it clearer that there's a problem that needs to be fixed, which can lead to it getting fixed faster.

Well, I feel like I have, given my very immature attitude last night, I feel absolutely horrible for having said what I said still. I was just testing the revisions, and somehow, I managed to find the one that broke, I usually don't have that kind of luck finding when something breaks in the code.

I'll keep using 8385 for THPS3 in the mean time.
I can't run this game at a higher resolution than the native one (640x448-ish), even though I can run most of the other games sharp at 1080p with no issues whatsoever. I have tried to tweaked the settings in Dolphin, but it seems like this game is forced at the native resolution? Or am I wrong?

Real XFB forces the output to native resolution. You can get higher resolutions by not using Real XFB, but then things will break. (I'm not sure what breaks, though. All graphics? Only pre-rendered video?)
I find it hard to disable Real XFB on this game. I tried to make a new *.ini file with the same exact code number as the game has, and put it into the GameSettings folder under My Documents. I made the *.ini file read-only, so that the emulator itself does not blank out my user settings all the time. In the *.ini file I wrote UseXFB = True and UseRealXFB = False on the next line. Still huge, ugly pixels on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.

Any other way of doing this? I'm having the same issues on the Prince of Persia games also.
If the emulator is blanking the INI, it's probably because you formatted it wrong. Did you put those two lines under a [Video_Settings] line?
Thanks, that fixed it; forgot to add the [Video_Settings] line at the top.

The videos doesn't work now, but honestly I could not care less in this game, as the GameCube-version of THPS3 works better than the unoptimized PC-port with no proper widescreen hack and bad controller support ;-)
