Well I could say I really dont like the jk games because they are a buggy glitch mess. That's the problem with arguing with opinions. I came here to see if there was a build that can run this game. It is pretty messed up to just respond with this game is bad. Its like going into the teen titan forum and asking why they want it to boot cuz the game sucks anyway.
It's been playable on pcsx2 for quite some time, it's still a bad game though, you only have to play it to see that. Basically if anyone expects the battles to be like the one in Episode II you'll be disappointed. It's like they took all the cool stuff out and replaced it with all these made for the game vehicles, then instead of making good use of particle effects they made it all look cheap and tacky.
If your basing a game on an epic movie battle, then you'd think they'd at least make it authentic. It's a shame it wasn't made by Factor 5 when they were still around because, i'm sure it would've been done way better. You only get get to fly a gunship a few times and even then it's very iffy. The tank like vehicle is just rubbish, like a weak snow speeder with tacky lasers.
redeeming factors;
menu screen graphics
star wars music
some sounds
bad;
many of the sound effects
terrain
most of the vehicles
lack of small details
hud, crosshair etc
voice acting
on foot sections, bad controls and aiming
It just felt like it should of been called Starfighter 3: Ground Assult because that's all it was, no space battles at all. Worst thing is the explosions when you destroy an enemy, not satisfying one bit
The amount of star wars games that have been made via the cheap and quick route is quite sad. Hasn't been a truly awesome game for years now, and all the newer good looking ones that would've come out were all cancelled. Now all one has to look forward to is Battlefront (if it's done right)
Kind of missing my point. I own it I have played it many times I really dont find it that awful sure its not as good as RS but its game I own that dolphin cant play yet and the only one. You dont have to play it and you dont need to tell me I shouldn't play it.

I never had problems with the JK series. I am playing Mystery of the Sith on windows 8.1. The only issue i have is that it does not run @ 16 bits while it did on windows 7
Just a follow up did testing with multiple settings this game does not need any fancy settings to run besides mmu. HLE audio and EFB to Texture are flawless constant 60FPS.

I'm not stopping you or anyone from playing it, I was just pointing out that it's a rubbish star wars game in my opinion.

I wasted money on it back in the day and wouldn't bother with it now. But if your hard core star wars fan, chances are you will like it.
All I was trying say was the game is very loosely based on ep 2 and there isn't much in it that makes it feel like you are re-enacting scenes from it, which is what most people thought they would get to do back when it came out. Where as in games like Rogue Squadron or X-Wing you get to take part in some epic battles straight out of the films.
I didn't want to argue, just make a point.
Yeah it runs flawless! Could definitely use a merge into master.
IceStrike, since I used to play this game a LOT, I think I will make a HD retexture of this too?
