Specs:
CPU : Intel Core i5-4430 3.00 GHz 4 CPUs
GPU : AMD Radeon HD 6870
RAM : 6 GB DDR 3
I'm using Dolphin 4.0 and I start out at 60 FPS during menus and whatnot, but drop to 45-50 during fights. I used to have an older version of Dolphin that ran it at 60 FPS through and through with 4x Anti Aliasing and Widescreen mode. Anyone know of any older versions that run this game more smoothly with AA and Widescreen? The only settings I altered in 4.0 was the forced widescreen mode.
Soulcalibur graphics seems broken in the revision 4.0-405

I know almost 60FPS full frame setting.

1. FXB All Off(set to False) in .ini gamesetting. Whenever you try new version of dolphin, check this over and over again because it is overwritten.
# most important settings
[Video_Settings]
UseXFB = False
UseRealXFB = False
# bonus for fast loadings
[Core]
FastDiscSpeed = True
2. Windows aero On
I don't know why, but when Vsyn on, d3d11 backend more run well with aero on.

Thanks man, the default "UseXFB = true" was causing some slowdowns I couln't get rid off, no matter the other settings.
I wonder why it's enabled in the first place..? Isn't explained on the wikipage.
It fixes full motion videos.
Thanks for the info. It should be part of the wiki page, unless settings which are part of the default .ini aren't included on the wiki.
Well, I went to check this, and the full motion videos worked without virtual XFB, so now I'm not sure.

The game runs a lot smoother without the virtual XFB (I experience framedrops when enabled, no matter the other settings), so if it isn't necessary than that would be great

I have a rather obscure question regarding this game: does anyone know anything about how the voiceovers are stored? It's my understanding that the Western release got English voice actors exclusively this time around, so I was wondering if it's possible to transplant the audio from the Japanese version into the North American one, or if it would require more patches than simple file swapping and building a new ISO.
