guys i want play super mario galaxy 2 using keyboard and mouse or in ps2 controller.............
but the game need nunchuck extension instead of wiimote........
there are two many buttons in wiimote and nunchuck...........i don't know which buttons are really needed....so i just messed up...... Huh
please anyone can give me a simple button configuration of wiimote and nunchunk for SGM 2...
PLEASE.....
Well, if you want to play Super Mario Galaxy seriously, you should use a real wiimote, nunchuk and a sensorbar. Super Mario Galaxy is not really a games, which can be played fine with keyboard and mouse in my opinion.

btw: Your CPU is way too slow for this game Tongue

i have seen many threads of wii mote and nunchuck configuration in keyboard and mouse......but i couldn't found them now.....
so please i know you can help me....
Button config is all about experimentation, i suggest you play the game with whatever config you have, once you're familiar with the most used buttons you can then map it accordingly, frankly speaking if you cant get a wiimote you should try any kind of gamepad instead of a keyboard and mouse, i believe i can give you a config for a ps2/ps3 controller.

i have a xbox 360 controller........i think SMG 2 can be played with x360 controller....
so can you give me button configuration of SMG 2 in x360 controller....?
I dont have an X360 config, only a PS3, since the pads are similarly structured just follow the screenshot below and map accordingly, i suck at editing images btw

IR: Leave wiimote IR untouched
Swing: W,S,A,D,E,Q (respectively top-bottom)
Tilt: P,Semicolon,L,Apostrophe (respectively top-bottom)

EDIT: Eww, thats seriously sloppy, let me know anything you cant see
If you really really want to play with a XBOX360 controller I encourage you to still get a real Wiimote, Nunchuck and a wireless sensor bar. Because it's good to have nonetheless. And once you have that you can easily play around with the real Wiimote and Nunchuck to figure out what buttons and movements do what and then you can try to experiment with configuring the XBOX360 controller afterwards.
I did this with Twilight Princess recently, got it almost to control like the GC version and I'm on my way making a new profile just for Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 now.

I know that for a quick play once in a while to play a few levels it's certainly easier just grabbing the XBOX360 controller and start.

Note, ALMOST, not entirely Big Grin
But Twilight Princess works pretty much flawlessly with the XBOX360 pad and anyone can do it to, all it takes is 5-10 minutes of experimenting and configuring.
And I'm also able to play Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 pretty flawlessly with the XBOX360 pad, heck it was way easier then I thought.

I could post the settings here both for Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 but then I have to grab a note and pencil because I can't upload any settings, I have to write them down. No Internet on my emulation rig you see.

Scratch that, I'm too lazy to do it. I'm gonna go and play some games now.
