I can confirm that the random lag spikes are greatly reduced after I moved the game from my WD Caviar Green 2TB to an 8GB RAM disk. Loading times are also greatly improved with fast disc reading on (obviously)
I am using 8GBx4 G.SKILL Trident X 2400MHz RAM for reference. I highly recommend to move it to a RAM disk if you have enough RAM, or even an SSD.
Also can also confirm the random freezing. It happened thankfully about 5 minutes after I had saved, so nothing really was lost. I played the game for a good 6 hour stretch and bam. Only happened once though.
Your report of it freezing is useless because you're using a hack; fast disc speed.
I've put maybe 30hours into it and now its just to annoying to play. I gotten it to where i can get 30fps constantly everywhere i walk around but the second i go into a fight it drops from 22-25 it wouldn't bug me as much if the music didn't go down with it. I've changed the reso from 1X native and still the same issue. im stumped.
AMD processors are slower than intel counterparts, and this is a pretty demanding game. You may have to overclock if you haven't, and if you already have overclocked, then you'll need a better processor.
yeah i do have an amd fx 8350 8 core 4.0ghz but i understand it only runs 2 cores i haven't overclocked cause i don't know how but i wasn't aware it might be the problem considering i get max 30 fps doing everything else its just the second i go into a fight and start a skill or 2 thats when it drops..

Aren't multi-core processors better for emulating?

For Dolphin only 2 cores.

And 3 cores max with "LLE on Thread"
Hi, I just got the game to work on Dolphin 4.0.2 and I'm trying to play the game using my Wii U Pro Controller. I've configured all my controls under GCPad-DInput Mayflash WiiU Pro Game Controller Adapter. The GCPad Configuration recognizes my inputs but the game does not, the only thing it responds to are the keyboard controls. Does anyone know what I can do to use my controller?

Nunchuk + wiimote or classic controller is what this game supports, so that is your problem.
