Btw why do you even need an undub patch for Xenoblade? i can only speak for the PAL version which has dual audio its the English dub and the original Japanese VA with subs, was it removed for the NTSC release or something?
Ah, I figured it out as much. At first I was suspecting my poor spec due to my laptop being low rigged, so I tested it on another PC with much better spec and still has the same result *sigh*. I guess I need to find another copy. Thank you very much for your help!

As far as I known dual audio version is indeed only for the PAL version only, sadly...

Yeah, no. :p I'm pretty sure the reason why the PAL and NTSC-U versions are dual-layer was to accommodate having both audio files for the VA. The NTSC-U version, aside is basically a direct copy of the PAL version minus all text save English (and forced to run at 30 FPS natively). You can switch between English or Japanese in the options of NTSC-U discs.

Ah, I see. My copies is indeed the single layered one, but it only offers english menu and japanese audio, strange. I guess I'll try looking for the dual layered copies then.

And if it's alright, for those who have the same spec as me and managed to run this game smoothly, I would appreciate it tons if you could share with me the dolphin configuration that you used. Out from 4 games that I can run only a couple managed to run; which also is very problematic (The Last Story turns out, only runs smoothly on the title screen. Hit the gameplay and BAM! Speed reduced to 36%.)
Every PAL disc should be dual-layered. If yours isn't you either didn't dump/rip it correctly or you altered the disc image in some way. Aside from the Framelimit options, this game doesn't really require any special settings for me. Your CPU isn't clocked very high, (you didn't specify which i3 you have exactly, but any generation of i3 @ 2.27GHz won't be fast enough) so you'll have issues in this game regardless of whatever configuration you use. Best advice I can say is use Auto and disable Limit by FPS. This gives me the best results, but it varies for some people, apparently.

The Last Story is one of the most demanding games you can play in Dolphin btw. Not even a real Wii runs it fullspeed Big Grin
Woah I haven't been here in a while, did 4.0 with OGL improve performance or something? Because I haven't gotten any of the freezes I used to get.

Yeah, "strange". No official release of Xenoblade is like that, and it doesn't look like you modded it yourself since you have no idea about how the size of a normal Xenoblade DVD.

Otakumegane: Yup, OpenGL's been mostly rewritten since 3.5 and now uses modern GL 3+ functions. You might want to enable Vertex Streaming Hack as well, it increases performance even more on Nvidia GPUs.
Since im replaying this game atm, i thought i make a sweetfx profile for it if anyone is interested in it here is a link: http://www9.zippyshare.com/v/49504686/file.html injector is included just unrar to your Dolphin folder
