Hey Can anyone give some hints for settings especially for XBC ? i downloaded dolphin 4 but don't remember which settings are good for the game or which settings are good with dolphin 4.0

my rig is:

Windows 7 64-bit
16 GB Ram
i5 3570K
GTX 770 Jetstream

i think with the right settings the game has to be running perfectly

hope you have some information for me

friendly greetings

Only settings I really messed around with were the Framelimit options. Setting it to Auto and unchecking Limit by FPS works wonders. Everything else is too finicky (voices run too fast, slowdowns during battle, random speedups). Your rig can handle using EFB2RAM, so you may as well set that. Other than that, there really aren't a lot of "special" settings you need for XBC.

Ok, after one afternoon messing around with the setting, I should say that Vbeam hack is absurdly awesome on this game. Really, there should be something on the compatibility wiki page for this. It could even be the only thing on the page as far as I'm concerned, like "XENOBLADE CHRONICLES - Turn VBeam Speed hack on", done, no more information needed. At the start of every battle, and maybe when doing some attacks, I was getting a huge stutter, lasting like 4 or 5 seconds, and now they dissapeared or turned into micro-stutters. Checking that on was the only thing that helped me on this aspect.

If anyone knows more things on how to help the performance on this game, please say something. Smile

My PC specs are as follow:
OS: Windows 7 x64
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 965 Black Edition
Ram: Corsair DDR3 4GB x2
GPU: GeForce GTX570

Hey guys, does anyone have any idea why this game crashes Dolphin. I get "dolphin has stopped working" in about 10-15 minutes each time I attempt to play. I've installed the HD texture pack and the xbox buttons. I actually reformatted my system yesterday, so all is fresh. Thanks!
What revision? What is your hardware? I haven't had a crash for months at default settings. I only had a problems when my CPU was Athlon 250. Slow CPUs are more likely to crash on this game.

I'm using 4.0 on default setting with the textures. Using Intel Q9950, AMD HD5770, 8gb, SSD. etc...
hey, i hope some of you can help me, i use the new Dolphin 4.0 and want to load custom textures but they won't load. i saved them under Dolphin\User\Load\Textures\SX4P01 i checked if it's the right version of XBC i have Japanese version with the ID SX4P01, i checked the "load custom textures" box at the advanced graphic options. also i have the problem that the Game drops when i fight mechons (very beginning) from stable 30FPS to 18-20 FPS, is this a known issue where no fix exist ? i'm using DSP HLE cause on the wiki page it say's since 3.5 the problem with HLE is fixed. Here are my settings pls tell me if there are any mistakes that i can correct to get better results for gameplay.

You need to put the textures in, C:\users\your_user_name\My Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\SX4P01

Not, C:\Program Files\Dolphin 4.0\
thanks !

I'm sorry but it seems to me that your CPU is to blame. Once I upgraded to i5 3570k I never ever had a crash ( in 100+ hours off playing only once I had a crackling sound ) and that was on same revision 3.5 like when I had an AMD.
