Use the real newest revision (
Download page) and it will work better
Hey guys. I've been playing this game on Dolphin 3.5-367 but decided to try out the newest revision. However, when i transferred the /User/ folder from the old build into the new revision, my game save didn't appear. Did i do something wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
By game save you mean game save and not Save state right?

Yes, you are correct. The in game save that would usually appear after pressing continue.

I would highly recommend you not to do that since you're upgrading from a very old version. A lot has changed and there's been some alternations in the ini settings which will break things.
Follow these steps to transfer your save files safely using the export functionality of Dolphin:
In the old version
1. Right click a Wii game in the Dolphin browser
2. Click on
Export Wii Save (Experimental)
This will export the save to where Dolphin.exe is located. It will be named data.bin
3. Copy it over to the new Dolphin build and paste it where Dolphin.exe is
In the new version
1. Click on
Tools -> Wii Save Import and select the data.bin in the file browser
It shouldn't break things that badly though, at least not to the point where it's inadvisable. I've switched between 3.5 and the latest without issues. Linux uses a universal folder for Dolphin. What I did notice is that imported Wii saves (from a real Wii) don't seem to be recognized in 3.5. I think something about Wii saves in general has changed between 3.5 and.the latest.

Hmm i'm not sure it will actually break things, i completed xenoblade on the old HLE hacked version (3.0-71 i believe), copied it over to one of the newer revisions and it's working fine, of course i didn't copy over the user folder as much as the save directory.
Just wondering, is there a supposed "best build" for Xenoblade?
Like if comparing 3.0 with HLE hack or the latest one and all.
It runs fine for me but there are still some noticeable audio glitches even on the latest revision (really noticeable when Monado Busting). It's odd, I get everything up at 100% and 30FPS and yet the audio still manages to stutter. Should I try using Open AL and adjust latency?
Latest builds are the best
