It looks fine on my PC and I have a laptop with a Radeon HD 7670M with an i5 2450M. It does look like something with the settings, but you said you messed with settings and it didn't help. Maybe your graphics card's drivers need updating? I'm at a loss. Maybe there is someone else on here who had this issue who can help. What are your settings?

Thank you for your reply. The fact that yours looks good means there is something wrong with mine. But my GFX card has the newest AMD Catalyst drivers (12.10 I believe).

I have always used Xenoblade's default settings (except for internal reolsution, scaled it up 2x so it is jsut unde rmy monitor's 1680x1050 resolution) and it worked fine. It really is only a problem in almost the entire area of Makna Forest (except for the beginning until the first landmark and except for the huge waterfull close to that). It starts as soon as I cross the bridge.

I just noticed 3.5 was released. Gave it try. Still the same issue. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?
Did you use Anti-Aliasing (AA) ?
AA may cause graphic issues on some games , you should not use it
AMD 6870 is powerful enough for 4xIR , no AA , 16x AF .Your GPU is much faster than 6870 , why did you use 2x IR ?

Hello. No I didn't use AA...

Also I used only 2x IR because in one of the Dolphin tooltip options it says that using a IR higher than your monitor's resolution could give issues.

This is a known issue with OS X and Dolphin. Nothing you can do about it unless you want to use Linux or Windows for Dolphin (or run Dolphin via WINE).
Best solution: Install Win 7 through Bootcamp.

i want to play this game but before i do i have a couple question. im only slightly informed on dolphin as i tried to use it to play the last story but the audio issues with cutscenes made me stop. i heard talk about there being a bug with certain dolphin versions that lead to this game not being able to be completed later in the game? something about a boss fight bugging out and ruining everything. i have 3.5-126 dolphin version, will i have that issue? do i need to get another version to make sure it plays properly? also does NTSC version need 30fps patch? i see it specifically mentions the PAL version when talking about 30fps so im assuming that means NTSC doesnt but i want to be sure
That bug was a certain (story) quest not completing, which ultimately got you stuck in the game.
It was only experienced by a handful of people on old Dolphin versions.
You shouldn't experience the issue, especially with the later builds.

As far as I know, the NTSC version of the game should run at 30FPS without the need of the patch.
