I'll be able to play all demanding games on dolphin with that processor without an overclock with at least HLE?
You'll be able to play all games but some won't run full-speed. With both LLE and HLE
Well of course I'll be able to play all games, what I'm asking is if they'll run in full speed. Will xenoblade and games like mario galaxy 2 run in full speed?

Dolphin is an emulator . Emulator is never perfect . By all mean , some games are unplayable no matter how good your PC is

PCSX2 is an another example

You should use the word
"most games" instead of
"all games"
Even the real console - the Wii couldn't run The Last Story - Lazulis City full speed
i5 4670k is much faster than FX 8350 in Dolphin . Obviously ,
most demanding games should run full speed (include Xenoblade and SMG )
Oh okay, I see what you're saying now, I apologize for the misunderstanding. I thought you were saying that some of the more high profile games still won't run with an I5 4670K. I will definitely get that processor with the motherboard you recommended in the next 3 weeks. Thank you so much for helping me play one of my favorite games in HD

Xenoblade still have bad audio(buzzy sound or something like that) with the new AX HLE - recent Dolphin versions even though the game run full speed (at some spots)
Don't know that issue is fixed or not . If not you should use LLE audio
My laptop is able to run this game full speed by using
these settings (Post#126)
Maybe it's just me (being lucky or what) , game run without any crash (Dolphin 3.5-145)
Xenoblade isn't really demanding for FX 6300 if you overclock it to 4.6GHz . However , SMG with LLE audio is another story
Hi guys!
I'm playing it on my pc, and is fairly good, but I still get some slowdown on battles, especially when there are more than 3 monsters... Can someone give me a good config setting to run it smoother? Im using Dolphin 3.5-1582
My rig:
AMD FX-8120 @4.0Ghz (Overclocked)
8GB RAM DDR3
GT240 512MB GDDR5
My current settings:
Enable Dual Core: on
Enable Idle Skipping: on
Framelimit: 30
Limit by FPS: on
VSync: off
Disable Fog: on
IR: 1x Native
AA: none
Anisotropic: 1x
Ignore Format Changes: on
EFB Copies: Texture
Texture cache: all-the-way Fast
External Frame Buffer: Disable
Fast Depth Calculation: on
OpenMP: on
VBeam: on
The options I didn't mention are in their default values.
I tried framelimit audio/auto but it was worse than what I have now (slowdowns with 3 monsters).
I know, a lot of you will say that my processor is bad and such, but, hell, is it so bad that even overclocked to 4.0 it can't run this game well?
As you can see in my previous posts there is really nothing you can do except play on an Intel machine, Dolphin only uses 2 cores so the 8 cores you have even running at 4.0 aren't good enough. Do what I did and buy the PAL version instead of the NTSC version and it'll help a little bit since it only needs to run at 25 to be full speed.

Don't know how I'm supposed to overclock to 4.6 without any cooling

it will be easier for me to just get an Intel machine when my birthday comes around next month, BTW thank you for being so helpful. I'm going to try to download the revision 145 to see if it's any faster, thanks again.
With Dolphin 3.5 145 , FX 6300 stock speed is fine . However the latest version run much slower ....That's why you need to overclock
