so ive been told to post my problems here in the official page.
i saw something about DSP HLE/LLE- i have absolutly no idea what it means or, what i should do about/with it,
(been tried to download and install that but it didnt went well).
my pc settings are in my signature below and i have a photo with my currently setting (after trying many things).
please help :X
note: please enlarge the page of the photo of my settings (below) because it a bit small but you would see it perfect

I would recommend downloading the latest dev build as it has much improved HLE audio. Disable SSAA and use a higher internal resolution (4x should be fine on your system) to help with the aliasing as this will cause a huge framerate hit.

Alternatively you could try using LLE with on thread enabled on your current 3.5 stable build but disable SSAA as above. You can also up AF to 16x without issue if you wish.

And use HLE. Your CPU is a bit weak to use LLE (in this game at least)

Not to question your reasons, and i may be a special case due to my dedicated sound card, but for me xenoblade tended to run worse on newer builds, and i do not mean FPS either, i occasionally got microfreezes (game would freeze for a second or so then resume normally), and the audio seemed to be missing something, it's honestly the only reason i used the HLE fix build.

Again though, i may be a special case considering how hard it seems to be for me to get many wii games working properly on my system.
Hey guys, so I'm still having freezing problems. This is by far my #1 problem.. not speed, or audio.

Despite having an older system, I can run the game 24-25 FPS constantly, and the audio bug almost never happens. I am playing a PAL copy.

I am using 3.5-145 x64. I get same results on official 3.5. I cannot use the new ax-hle builds, the FPS drops down to 18-19 no matter what settings I try.

After 10-30 minutes of playing, my game freezes. I know it's going to happen because the audio will skip a few frames then slow down, and then the audio keeps playing but the game itself is frozen. The CPU usage jumps up to 97-98. I have attached a couple screenshots (minor spoilers in second image), sometimes I get crazy glitches on the screen during these freezes. Once in a great while, I can play the game perfectly fine for hours. But other times, the game freezes consistently despite restarting the emulator and closing all background programs.

If anyone can help me at all narrow down the issue or make suggestions as to how to avoid freezing I would GREATLY appreciate it. Whether it's settings, a cache folder that needs emptying, anything you can think of...

My settings:

Game properties:
Accurate VBeam checked
Everything else - default

Dolphin config:
Enable dual core
Enable idle skipping
Frame limit: Audio, limit by FPS checked (Audio gives me smoothest framerate with almost no audio stutter)
Audio: HLE, DSound
Everything else - default

Graphics:
DirectX9, 1680x1050
4x native, 16x AF, no AA
Scaled EFB Copy checked
EFB copies texture
Everything else - default
That's weird . I finished the game with 3.5-145 , I didn't see that graphic glitches
It may be relate to driver or your GPU (make sure it not run too hot , 70 degree Celsius or lower is recommended for desktop GPU)
Ever since the FIFO-BP merge, this game has ceased to crash on me. Try using the latest revisions; 3.5-145 is really outdated given the amount of changes that have been going on. Audio is also flawless with HLE audio for this game in the latest revisions, so you should definitely consider it.

Man, I would love to, but... all the latest versions (as in, after the AX-HLE merge around 1100), don't run as fast as the older (3.5-145) versions. I get at most 18-19 FPS, and have to use OpenAL with the audio slowed down. It's like playing the game in slow motion.

I wish there was a happy medium between the older faster versions, and the newer stable ones.
Then don't use builds past the second new-ax-hle merge (the one for the Wii version of the AX ucode). The FIFO-BP merge (3.5-644) happened quite bit before that.

Also, this game is graphically demanding for GPUs. Your GTX 260 should be able to handle 4X IR in most games, but it might slow down in this game. Have you tried lowering your IR? Your GPU might slightly be bottlenecking your system. There are certain points where 4X IR or 3X IR + 8X CSAA or greater causes slowdown (~5 FPS, down to 25).

Thanks for the help, Shonumi.
I've been trying out 3.5-644... so far it runs flawlessly everywhere but during a battle, where the FPS gets extremely choppy. Would you mind letting me know what settings work well these FIFO-BP builds?

Also I saw in the game properties a setting for syncing the GPU which, according to the tooltip, resolves random freezes when used with Dual core... I wonder if that will prevent my freezes?

If I can get the battle FPS stable, this build could be the right one for me.
This thread help me a lot to fix sound issue, now working 100%.
