I'm having an annoying audio crackle while playing Xenoblade european version.

I know about shader compilation audio crackle but this is different: it happens whenever i close the ingame map, the framerate goes to 25 fps for a split second but that is enough to make the audio crackle.

Also, it happens when i change equipment in menu and then close it. It happens while closing menu to ingame transitions

Is there a particular audio setting i should use? I'm using HLE audio cubeb and the latest 5.0 Dolphin dev build.

Can you post all of your audio settings?

Try enabling audio stretching.

When i enable audio stretching, at every value, audio starts trembling, like it's written in this issue here

It's been a long time since I tried this game. I see there is a 60fps patch for it now.. I tried checking the box for it under geko codes in the latest version 5.0 11991. walking around seems to be  fluid. but when I'm in combat it completely slows down like slow motion or something. yet my fps counter still reads 60fp.. is it supposed to be like that?
What are your VPS at? Have you tried changing CPU Clock Override?

It should, I would be more concerned about your CPU.
