I have tried adjusting Wii clock speed, Single Core mode, disabled 60fps patch and everything, I've tried 5.0 stable and 5.0-8751, and nothing helps.
All of the cutscenes starting from when you meet JuJu just go super fast, the audio plays at normal speed, but the video just flies by.
Some support would be appreciated, specs are in my profile, and I am using the HD textures (although that probably has nothing to do with it).
What are your VPS/FPS during the cutscenes?
Heyo, I had the same problem as DolphinUser223 with the speeding up of cutscenes around Juju, though a few cutscenes later the problem stopped. I was experimenting with the code to reduce music volume at that time, though, and since I've given up on making it work I haven't had a problem since.
The real question I wanted to ask, however, is there by chance any code to fix the max damage glitch? These are the kinda things that annoy the crap out of me to no end, I wish I never learned about it, lol. Taken from an FAQ by GFAQs user zerokid,
Quote:Max Damage Glitch
-----------------
If you check out your stats screen, one of your major stats that you'll often
be paying attention to is your character's Auto-Attack Damage. You'll get a
range of values such as 250-375.
However, Xenoblade Chronicles has a glitch whereby the upper damage limit is
capped at the lower damage limit plus 99. For example, if the game tells you
that you're doing 250-375 damage, you'll actually be doing 250-349.
Note that this does NOT work in reverse--if it says you're doing 300-380
damage, that's the truth. You are NOT doing 300-399 damage.
Status effects and Arts will multiply this capped limit. Say you are using an
Art that does 3x the damage of a regular attack, and your auto-attack damage is
250-375. First you knock this range down to 250-349, then multiply by 3 for
your damage range of 750-1047. Just out of interest, if the game wasn't
glitched, that Art would deal 750-1125 damage.

Hey guys,
I'm having stuttering issues. I'm trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles with the HD Texture pack.
It runs pretty smoothly, but the game occasionally stutters, especially when trying to open/close menus.
I've already tried moving the game's ISO and HD texture files to my SSD for faster file access, but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.
Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 10 Home
Processor: Intel® Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 4 Core(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (I believe that's DDR4?)
Graphics Processor: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
Attached to this post you will find screenshots of my configuration (main config and video config).
Turn on "Prefetch Custom Textures" (in your last screenshot).

Thanks! That seemed to significantly reduce the issue. It's still not perfect, but it's better.

Maybe something goes wrong with new emulator and your old Cache folder..
Delete your c:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
Cache
and try to run the game again..
Your current files stored to C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
Each time you open the Dolphin-Emu files loaded from C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
Otherwise you can try that way..
backup C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
GC [This folder contain gamecube saves]
backup C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
Wii [This Folder contain Wii saves include Xenoblade]
backup C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
GameSettings [This Folder contain all game settings including/patched/cheats/codes]
backup C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config\
Profiles [This Folder contain your Controller Settings]
Download Latest Dolphin-Master
Extract the files to any path you want and create inside Dolphin-Emu-5.0-9610 an empty file called
portable.txt
Example:

Now all of your settings store into new folder c:\dolphin-Emu-5.0-9610\
User Instant of C:\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\
you can copy/paste any of your old backup dolphin-emulator into new folder \user
Be aware I'm not sure but save files may be incompatible among old/new Dolphin-Emu versions..
If this not solve your problem you can post some of your current settings in here.. we can help you!
