The menu bar reads "Dolphin 5.0" and Help -> About doesn't show any version, only the master revision.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. My saves are in My Documents/Dolphin Emulator/GC I believe.

No.. your save is on My Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Wii

GC Folder is for Gamecube Games.
Wii Folder is for Wii Games.

Download The latest Dolphin-Emu

Extract the files for example c:\dolphin-x64 5.0-8xxx\
try to load your save with latest dolphin version

Sorry if I'm too dumb. I just copied my Documents/Dolphin Emulator/Wii folder to the dolphin-x64/user folder (so there is a dolphin-x64/user/wii/title/00010000/5358445/data folder with the saves).
But what's that expected to accomplish?

I tried to look for a way to load saves from Dolphin, but none worked to load any files from that folder.
What should I do?

I uploaded my Wii folder containing my save to https://ufile.io/34bm8, in case it helps.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I just tried to start a totally fresh "My Documents/Dolphin Emulator" folder, start a game and save to slot 2, then turn off Dolphin and swap save 2 with my save, still seeing the same.
Also tried a different ROM and run Perform System Update, nothing was successful.
It appears the save really is f***ed and my 35 hours are going down the drain...

I cannot help you to retrieve your save, for some reason this file probably corrupted..
I try to load in different versions without success..

I can provide you my old save folder works & loads 100% perfect.

The save with level 33 & 23:20 playtime is on chapter when you first meet Melia
The save with level 37 & 31:26 playtime is on same chapter when Melia left, most of playtime is just farm & level up
so we are kinda in the same spot you are lucky : ) If you want that files I can send them via message just tell me.

Hello. I am wondering if there is a fix to lag/sound distortion on AoE hits?

For example. In the tutorial if the Monado Blade attacks hits more than one robot, there is a tiny bit of lag and a sound distortion. It used to be worse (MUCH louder sound distortion) but audio stretching helped reduce the issue, it seems.

I have i5 3570k, and GTX 1080. I am using the HD texture pack with Enhancements: 3x native 1080p.

Is my CPU causing issue here? I really want to get in to this game, but lag+sound distortion on AoE hits, and blurry Wii on my HDTV is making this game ever so difficult to get in to.

EDIT: SKIP EFB access + GPU texture decoding seems to have solved the issue for me.

(So i'm new here, and I don't know if this is the right place to ask this either, if this isn't the right place to ask redirect me to somewhere more appropriate.)
I have a save of xenoblade chronicles I used on dolphin, and I wanted to play it on console through vwii on my wii u. When I went to import the save through the save manager built into the wii and vwii it didn't work, it kept saying "the data may not have been copied" and I don't know what to do i've tried everything. All the files are in the right places, I have made sure of that, it appears IN the save manager on the sd card, but it won't let me copy. It did however let me copy a save created in game on console that I copied to the sd card and then copied back. So I don't know what's wrong, I just know that something is not letting me copy the save over for some reason. If anyone has any clue how to help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
You have to have a save already on your Wii for the save data to copy in.

Hi everyone we are trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles on Dolphin, and so far tried two different ISO's, three different dolphin versions and a bunch of setting changes, but basicly every time it boils down to this; frame drops, sound stuttering and just overal inconsistent play speed.

my specs are:

GeForce GTX 1050
8GB RAM
Intel Core i5 7300HQ CPU 2.50GHz

If any aditional information is required, please let me know
Are you playing with your charger plugged in and Windows Power Options set to High performance?
Do you have a profile set up for Dolphin in the Nvidia Control Panel to use the Nvidia GPU and to Prefer maximum performance?
Do you have Windows up to date?
Are you running the latest GPU drivers for your Nvidia GPU and your Intel iGPU?

I appear to be having a problem quite the opposite of many here, as in the cutscenes in game runs wayyyy too fast.
I have tried adjusting Wii clock speed, Single Core mode, disabled 60fps patch and everything, I've tried 5.0 stable and 5.0-8751, and nothing helps.
All of the cutscenes starting from when you meet JuJu just go super fast, the audio plays at normal speed, but the video just flies by.

Some support would be appreciated, specs are in my profile, and I am using the HD textures (although that probably has nothing to do with it).
