Hi.

MKBig GrinA gameplay runs nice and smoothly. However, I've a problem with video playback. The sound is fine but the screen is black. This happens from the intro after pressing start on the memory card screen and with all videos found in the Kontent menu (Making of MK etc).

I've tried switching from fullscreen to windowed mode and I've tried switching between OpenGL and D3D but to no avail.

I'm using the latest Dolphin (8764) as found on this site. I'm on Windows 7 Pro x64 with an Intel 4770k CPU, GTX 780 GPU and 8 gigs of Corsair RAM.

FYI: I tried MK: Deception but the video playback is fine with that one... Smile
Try setting XFB to Real.
Thank you so much for your quick reply. That seems to have done the trick.

Is there a way one can update the wiki entry with this suggestion or is that up to you, the developers?

Again, thanks. Smile
Anyone can edit the wiki, so go ahead.
Just thought I'd let you know I updated the wiki. Thank you for all your work. Smile

Hi guys. Just signed up to ask a question.

I play MK games competitively, and I've been trying to get MKDA to work via netplay. When playing, no matter the graphics/memory card settings, it just locks up the first few frames.

I'd like to get this working for netplay (Players play Soul Calibur 2 via Dolphin Netplay, I'd like to get this working too if possible), I wouldn't mind working on it myself, but I dont even know where to start. If anyone could help me that would be awesome!

Thanks!

Disabling the dual core setting is worth a try.
It's a game that doesn't support Dualcore Netplay. Use Single Core.
