I use a 32 bit build, positive. The FPS still sucked at about 13-15ish now, but at least running regular JIT took care of the 0 FPS problem for now at least seemingly. I played for an hour without it or the GFX Fifo errors at all.

Planning to update my laptop to 64 bit soon, and when I do, I'll report how the dev builds are doing
You'll definitely see a boost in speed from going up to 64 bit and using the latest dev builds.
Updated my laptop to 64 bit and got the latest build: 4.0-5222. First of all, the speed is amazing, averaging at 30 FPS now. There's a few problems though.

1. Colors are a bit messed up at some places. At the Cipher Lab where you see the 6 colored cipher peons, they are largely monochromatic instead of their red, yellow, blue, green, brown, and purple.

2. I did get quite a bit of GFX FIFO popups, along with the 0 FPS freeze a few minutes afterwards, although before I updated my laptop, these problems appeared relatively independent of each other. I used the regular JIT btw instead of JITIL, which fixed the problem on the older build but not this.

Disabling Dual Core didn't help either Sad
Pokemon XD is definitely a dualcore sensitive game; so, I wouldn't be surprised if that fixed it.
What happens when you go back a few revisions of Dolphin?
Can you send me a save file around where it's likely to crash and give me instructions?

I get the 0 FPS freezing problem in both newer and older revisions, with the GFX FIFO pop up boxes in the older revisions

The crashes and freezes don't occur at any specific point, just randomly in any battle. I didn't need to do anything specific.
I'll check on my end with the latest dev builds and see if it does the same, cause I haven't had any issues recently (but I'm like 100 or so builds behind right now)
After a 2 month break, I tried going back to try this game with the latest dolphin build, suggested settings, and the GFX FIFO problem is still here, I don't even know what's going on anymore.

Update: This is even weirder. Using the latest stable version, 4.0.2, which was established to be slow before, now runs it at a decent speed with no errors yet.

Update #2: Freezing (0 FPS) problem reappears, although noticeably not as fast as the dev versions. There is no GFX FIFO popup box, but still...
I haven't touched XD on the latest builds recently, I'll check it out in the morning.
