That's to be expected; some enhancements won't work in some games.
Is there an Action Replay code available that prevents objects from disappearing when using the Widescreen Hack option?
This is the only game I've ever played on Dolphin, so this might turn out to be a more general question.
I'd opened Dolphin the program several times before I actually played a game on it; because of this, the Dolphin Emulator folder was never created in Documents. When I first booted the game, the boot went off without a hitch; some mild audio issues, but probably nothing that wouldn't solve itself in time. However, I closed the game fairly quickly to mess around with some settings. When I returned, trying to boot the game simply quickly crashed Dolphin. Of course the obvious thing to do was simply to revert settings, which I did, but it still crashed Dolphin when attempting to boot. The only thing different there still was was the existence of the Dolphin Emulator folder in the first place; deleting that folder and then attempting again to run the game worked like a charm. Just to prove it, I immediately closed the game and tried to boot the game again; it didn't work.
So for some reason, if the Dolphin Emulator folder exists, then Dolphin can't run PoR.
Anyone know any idea what the solution to this problem is?

That is an interesting problem. Is your Dolphin folder set to read only when it gets created? That shouldn't keep the game from booting but weird things happen. Also what version of dolphin are you using? And finally is your .iso a good rip?
My wife just played through this whole game finishing it last Saturday so it should work.
It's the Intel HD OpenGL shadercache thing. Use D3D for now.

I've decided to play through this game again, is revision 3.0-645 still the best option for accurate fog emulation or has that been fixed now?
I played through it in master, there are no issues in this game really.
