which version of Dolphin are you using? Try using the newest developement version (or just any from 3.5-1154 onwards) and the sound should work perfectly even with HLE

Use LLE
Recompiler not Interpreter. And overclock your CPU (I guess you haven't done it). It will work just fine.
Dolphin.. I'm using 3.5-1321.
I've tried both Recompiler and Interpreter without success.
overclocking.. I did wonder about that, I'll need to figure out how to do it though, have yet to ever attempt overclocking. Guess I'll need to google some stuff
I have had minimal success by switching to OpenAL from Xaudio, though that has teh annoying tendancy of music slowdown when the framerate drops a little due to whatever effects are happening.

Why did you get a "k" processor if you've never planned to overclock?

.
More seriously: most games will work fine at stock with this CPU. But in some situations (demanding games, LLE, EFB to RAM...) overclocking is helpful.

Slowdowns, stutterings... This might be due to a difficulty to maintain full-speed (necessary to get LLE and new AX-HLE to work properly). Once more overclocking can help
I did plan on overclocking it, just not got around to it yet was all.
Probably doing it wrong.. I increased the voltage and such in bios, so it *should* be running at 4.8 according to my bios, but only hitting 3.8.. Odd. Guess I need to do more fiddling.
EDIT: Ah, got it to 4.2! Forgot to adjust the individual cores, so t hey kept goimg back to 38/38/37/36
There are lines on the face of the character. How to fix this? I'm using version 3.5-1574 and don't force texture filtering. It occurs when Direct3D11 is used.
DX9 doesn't have this problem. Maybe this is a bug for DX11?
I'd like to point out that there is no issue 6957 (yet :3), so I don't know what issue the wiki is talking about :p
Game has choppy audio (tested with all audio settings) and runs at around 49 fps for me using the latest Dolphin version 3.5-1691.
I believe it actually ran faster before updating but had the fog issue.
