Well, there are lots of development versions, but I'll try.
Tested again in 4.0-978 and it still won't boot the game.
I'm testing 4.0-600. The game boots, but crashes on that scene.
I'll test more later.
Using JITIL apparently crashes the game when booting.
Testing the NTSC-U version. See if this doesn't crash.
The game boots even with cheats activated, but none of the cheats (both Gecko and AR) work. They did completely nothing.
Some say that the "dsi exception in stmw" and lmw happens only in the PAL version. It may take a few days to test the NTSC version since the cheats don't work.
I think I know what's wrong. Are you maintaining full speed at most times?

Fire Emblem Path of Radiance likes to crash if I can't maintain full speed.
I'm always at 100% speed, especially in battle animations. My speed reduces only if there are MASSIVE amounts of units in the map, and the camera is zoomed out. Also, this is Radiant Dawn, not Path of Radiance. Smile
I know that, it's just likely some of the same people/resources were used on both games, so they may suffer similar problems.

The error message is "DSI exception in stmw" and "DSI exception in lmw" appeared right after the first. I tried using MMU but it doesn't work, even disabling Dual Core. Are there any solutions?

NOTE: Strangely, I've completed this game before on the same Dolphin version (4.0 x86) and the game works perfectly till the end. Now this is my second playthrough, and this happened.

Same thing happened to me but at the start of Chapter 6 in part 1. Haven't found any way around it yet.
Is this game actually fully playable in these new Dolphin versions?
I never experienced any crash up until part 4 endgame. But what was the crash name that you said happened in the part 1 chapter 6? Mine was "dsi exception in stmw" and "dsi exception in lmw". I have no idea what that means. Oh, and the game crashes even in the latest builds. The NTSC version doesn't seem to have this bug.
Sorry for bumping again, but by enabling MMU, the DSI exception thing doesn't appear, but the game still freezes with 0 FPS.
So I play radiant dawn with a gamecube controller emulated on an xbox controller, but I keep an emulated wiimote enabled so I can soft reset the game via the home button. The emulated Wiimote uses my mouse and keyboard.

After a soft reset, the wiimote usually disconnects without notice, requiring me to alt f5 or restart the emulator to reconnect it in order to perform another soft reset. This behavior was not replicable in Xenoblade Chronicles, which is the only other Wii game I have to test this behavior on. I've found some references to some people being unable to soft reset multiple times in a session, and I assume these problems are the same.

The reset option under the emulation menu also does not work. Xenoblade Chronicles, again, does not have this issue.

While it isn't a huge deal, it is an inconvenience. Is there a way to fix either of these behaviors?
