Hi, I just reached the 3rd part, and just like the wiki says, Dolphin crashed at the opening cutscene of the third part when the group of laguz transformed. Using DSP LLE works, but I only reached about 60-70% speed in the map. If you want to use DSP HLE, just skip the whole cutscene with start button Big Grin. Also, using the Vbeam Speed Hack apparently causes crackling sounds. Tested on PAL version with Dolphin 4.0 x86
I'm playing the US version using Dolphin 4 (the European one ran fine but wouldn't recognize my Path of Radiance saves, made with the US version). The game is very slow and the audio is very stuttery (even with limit by fps audio setting turned on). I tried fiddling with the graphics settings and config every which way, and nothing seems to work.
Nvidia Geoforce 640
Intel Core 3.30 ghz, 8 ram.

(For some reason the 3.5 version of Dolphin managed to turn the game on without slowdowns - once. But it didn't recognize my saves from the dolphin 4 version. When I tried copying over the user folder from 4, it stopped responding to commands, so I'm stuck in the Wiimote safety instructions forever)
1) Saves won't work between different region games.
2) What model is your CPU, specifically.
3) Audio is stuttering because you aren't running fullspeed.

1. Yeah, I realized that - hence the bit about me trying to run the US version rather than the European one.
2. Intel® Core™ i3-2120 cpu @ 3.30 ghz
3. I gathered as much. How do I run the game at full speed?
Try these:
1) Update drivers, Windows updates, DirectX Web installer (may be missing some parts), and latest version of Visual C++
2) Make sure under Power Management in Windows you're running in High Performance, and are plugged in to power. Also set a high performance profile under Nvidia Control Panel
3) Use the OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds, as it is faster than D3D. The current dev build is 4.0-750

Did all that, didn't help. I'm still 99% sure the issue is about fiddling with Dolphin settings, as it could (as mentioned above) run the European version fine, but not the US one.
Open a new thread and post pictures of your config pages and graphics tabs. Don't want to clutter up this thread.

Also fix your profile with your CPU model.
? I thought "game support" was precisely the right spot for... support of issues with the game. Where else would I open a new thread?
Whoa, everything is weirdly backwards.......
Yeah, just didn't want excess thread posting. Doesn't matter

two things
1) try disabling cheats
2) Post your hacks tab also.

1. Done, didn't help.
2. Wah, I messed that one up. Here:
