Hey guys, first time poster here with a strange problem that occurred today. I am using Dolphin 4.0-652.

My Radiant Dawn game crashed my computer when I tried to load a savestate to resume my game. As a result, I lost all of my progress, the client reset everything and my games are no longer on Dolphin. It usually takes me about 5-10 tries of loading a savestate to get it to work. However, just loading the game works without any problems, just loading savestates. I can run games like Project M and Path of Radiance just fine.

That isn't everything, I still have the files for my savestates but I can't load them or anything. I get a "Empty queue in Backendlocal - sync class code is messed up" message.

Is there any way to fix this? Can my save files be recovered? How do I prevent my game from crashing while loading a savestate?

I'll post my specs if it's needed

Any help would be appreciated.
You used an unofficial build from a netplay branch. There's nothing we can do for ya.

Well I.. Sad
Hi,

I am a long-time Dolphin user, and I have had a very interesting issue while running Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I was playing the game fine for a long time (up to halfway through Part III), and the emulator has all of the sudden become unable to play the game. I was in the middle of a chapter, and I tried loading a state, and my screen went completely black. The Dolphin Emulator stopped responding completely, and I had to force shut down the game and interface. I reloaded Dolphin and tried playing the game again, and it showed a black screen again, and the emulator stopped responding. I then reset my computer and did Windows updates, but the same thing happened when I tried to load Radiant Dawn. I tried playing a different game (FE: PoR for the Gamecube) and it ran fine, but the entire Dolphin program becomes unresponsive whenever I try to load Radiant Dawn. I tried deleting the game and re-installing it, but I had the same problem. I would really like to play this game, and would appreciate any help and/or suggestions. Thank you!

EDIT: I forgot to put in the Dolphin version I am using - the most recent build of Dolphin 4.0. Sorry!

Yeah, using an unofficial release is highly discouraged. Extract your save state and/or SD card data and put it in a different folder, delete your Dolphin folder, and re-install the latest stable build. See if your save states work after that
Hello! So, I've been having major issues with this games speed. I've spent all morning searching for solutions, and it seems I've tried everything. I can't get the game to work much past 50%. This is the first Wii game I have used in Dolphin. All of my GC games, including Path of Radiance, work perfectly at 100%. I'm convinced it is not an issue with my computer. Here are my specs: Model: ASUS OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit Memory: 8GB RAM Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics Family. I'm using the most recent developer version of Dolphin from a few hours ago (I checked to make sure my GC games still work fine with this one and they do)

I've had the computer for a little over a month, and it was brand new. I've played tons of games on it so far and haven't had any issues whatsoever, including on Dolphin.

Also, I'm posting my current settings for Dolphin. If anyone can think of a solution to this, I would REALLY appreciate it! Big Grin

Thank you in advance!
You broke the forum rules again and again with your post, no piracy talk for obvious reasons is accepted in the forums.
