Cheats simply do not work when playing in Radiant Dawn.
All the Gecko Codes are either non-functioning, useless, or crashes the game.
Well, all except one code, named Inf. Movement by Alex Wong. This one works perfectly fine.
Has anyone else been able to successfully use Gecko cheat codes?
No caps limits crashes the game. DSI exception in stmw and lmw pop up like crazy.
Always perfect level ups, All weapons have 255% crit. chance, All weapons have Brave effect, Every unit can use all weapon, All weapons unlocked, All weapons infinite use, Every single unit first item/ second is blessed, Every single unit always has 99 exp. These codes have no effect whatsoever.
The 99 exp of every one at the bottom section of Gecko codes by Am3692 also do not work.
What's the best choice for audio backend for this game for Ubuntu Linux? The wiki says to use Xaudio2 to fix audio issues, but that isn't an option for me. In past builds I fixed the audio issues I was having (lots of crackling, growly audio) by limiting framerate by speed, but that isn't an option anymore.
I'm currently using the ALSA backend, and my other options are Pulse, OpenAL, and AOSound.
hallo guis
I'm trying to play this on my computer but it's running fairly badly; after playing around with settings the highest I got was 50%
the game runs perfectly except for the chunky fps
is there anything I can do other than suck it up or is my computer just too bad?
Operating System: Windows 7 32 bit
Processor/CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @3.16GHz
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series
Memory/RAM: 4GB RAM
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: Dolphin 4.02 x86

Upgrade to windows 7 64 bit and use the latest development version from the site. Also post all your settings.

64 bit windows made it run perfectly, 80-100% now, thanks ^^
There's no sound in the video cutscenes in the latest development build.
Hello
I use Dolphin 4.0-3734 on Ubuntu Linux (see my config in my signature). I have just tried Radiant Dawn a few times so far (but I did decide meanwhilde to redo Path of Radiance to refresh me the game background memory). I use the PAL version because I do not read or speak japanese. I have a few problem with it :
- I have no physical wimote and I have not the gamecube controller adaptator so I use keyboard/mouse. I noticed that the wimote does not work well on the game except for the home button (on the home wii menu screen, my mouse work, it does not on the game). I just saw on the ROM info this : "Disable gamecube controller or wiimote to not have conflicts" I know how to disable wimote (alt+F5) but I've not found how to enable/disable gamecube controller. And since I play most of the time more the gamecube than the wii games I dont know which controller is better suited for this game

- I cannot begin a new game, the game keeps on saying me that my Path of Radiance saves are corrupted which is strange since I've never played Path of Radiance with Dolphin-emu, I play it on my real gamecube. The workaround I found was to put "nothing" for slot A memory card emulation but is there another way ?
- I have the same sound issue as posted by another forum user :

- I saw a lot of advice on this thread for playing full speed : how I can modify this ?
Thanks for reading

You can use keyboard and mouse with a GameCube controller. That works way better than using Keyboard and Mouse with emulated Wiimotes. This game accepts input from both, the wiki is just stupid.
All of the remaining audio backends are fine, but pulse is absolute best on Linux for me.

So I must disable wiimotes emulation with alt+f5 ?
