Your should try latest Development Versions instead of 4.0 (Stable Version). They might be slightly faster for you

Works like a charm. All I did, after downloading a patch like you said, was load it, tweak a few settings and now it runs at perfect speed. I'm gonna play through the stages and see what happens. If it stays good, should I post my settings to help somebody else?
Hi I have a problem where I have been trying to play local multiplayer with a friend but only the first controller is recognized at the character choosing screen. This is strange because not only does dolphin recognize the second controller, the second controller can also hit a button to get passed the start menu. It only is an issue once you have to create a character. Nothing shows up for the second player. Am I doing something extremely wrong here? I initially set up my dolphin for Project M, but I downloaded the most recent version of dolphin and am now attempting to play Dark Legacy (4.0-3575).

Mind posting your dolphin version and settings? I know it might be a little excessive to ask for all that but I am honestly at a loss here.

Oh might I add, I used to own GC version of Dark Legacy. Gave it to a friend Purchased the PS2 version and didn't like the way you couldn't turn items off, so I purchased another GC version of the game. Over the years it got thrown out. I just looked on amazon for another version of it because of how frustrated I am with attempting to get the dolphin version to work and it is still around FORTY DOLLARS to purchase. I was so surprised. After 3 purchases I am damn determined to get this to work haha!
Check the controller settings on the netplay page and see what controllers are plugged in. This is probably a relatively minor problem.
I would like to report an issue i just had. Using 4.0-6896, overclock at 200% (might not be relevant):
I was playing local co-op with 2 players total. Upon saving my character after a level completed, dolphin threw an error and crashed. I don't have the error written down, but if someone needs it I can probably get it.
I'm running into an issue with netplay where me and my friend somehow become desynced or something along the way. At first when i tried to host (via Traversal) it didnt even register in my game that he was there. Then he hosted and we saw each other but when we moved to go to the first area the game thought we were in different areas, at one point he had even loaded into the poison fields while i was still in the tower on my screen. We are both running 4.0-7840 and we both have the same version. Any ideas? Or is it just that we need to be playing via direct host?
I am trying to get two players in the game on one computer dolphin can see the controller yet it does not work on the game and i can't figure it out.
im having some issues trying to play this game. i get caught on creating save file in the beginning of the game and it wont let me get by that point. now im new to this emulator and might be just doing something stupid but i would love some help on this issue.
