Well, if you're really desperate, you could use aspect ratio per window, and set your resolution to whatever you want the game to be run at; that way you could get the correct aspect ratio.

I just decided to use the NTSC version.
When I recorded the footage at 2560x1440 I resized it to 2332x1440 and it doesn't look stretched anymore.
It looks stretched at 2560x1440 because that's a 16:9 aspect ratio (2560 / 1440 = 1.777). You should be running the game at 1920x1440 to get 4:3 (1920 / 1440 = 1.333).

It was stretched even when I played at auto aspect or 4:3.
It's 100% fact that the NTSC version of the game is incorrectly displaying the image.
The 2560x1440 is when I forced 16:9 and widscreen which works out well when I resize the recorded footage to 2332x1440.
As I said before the PAL version is the only version which correctly displays the game.
Judging by a short test it is working perfectly now when using Netplay (or adding "GPUDeterminismMode fake-completion" to the game ini I assume). Great to see that feature in the mainline instead of a depreached tree!
But not only that, I can now play the game with Dualcore Determinism on full speed on my ancient E8400 (~3.6GHz). Before that I had slowdowns to ~15fps in certain scenes (e.g. prologue when Alfonso talks) with multicore. Fionas optimisations really did wonders.
in Rev 4368 and ishiruka, game freeze when came in pirate island!
4.0-4368 is supported however, so it seems the issue is underlying each version (official and unofficial). I'll take a look later. This is when you first come to Pirate Isle at the beginning of the game, correct?
Oh sorry, I thought he said rev 4368 of ishiiruka
