Strangely, there are some minor graphical issues (extra vertices appear as spikes, etc) but I can live with that as long as there are no crashes or big slowdowns.

I will go down to 3.0 and see if that helps. I know is used to play this back in the day without issue. I think that would be a good place to start
I am using one of the latest (3.5 1156 I think) and the random freezes and crashes are gone. Problem now is I cant get full speed. Even with my rig and using HLE and 1x Res I get constant slow downs. Any ideas?

Using DX11 because the others do not show the greens properly. Smile
Been four or five days so bumping in case anyone has any ideas Smile
This is totally playable with no crashes (played three courses) using 3.5-1388. HLE, EFB to RAM and cache to Safe. I updated the wiki as well! I am so happy this game is finally playable again

*hugz*
How long did you play for?
A little over 2.5 hours. Its the first time I have been able to play this game without crashes and at full speed since per 3.0. I am pretty stoked Smile

hey I have been playing gamecube games a lot recently on Dolphin and all of the run at full speed except this game which happens to be my favourite gamecube game. here are my specs can I get the game to run?

System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
System Model: Satellite L50-B
BIOS: 2.00
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Intel HD 5500 graphics
Well, your clocks are rather low for Dolphin. Dolphin is mostly happy above 3 GHz (and it doesn't care about more than two cores).
This game has always had a rather 'unoptimized' feel to it, I don't know if it's even an MMU title.
Either way, the only thing you can do is look in your settings, maybe there's something to optimize there. Try lowering the internal resolution, make sure EFB Copies are stored to texture only, EFB Access from CPU is skipped and Texture Cache accuracy is set to 'fast'. Also, if you run Dolphin fullscreen, the advanced option 'borderless fullscreen' might raise your FPS, works for many people whysoever.

Thanks I tried everything you said and it is still unplayable but I managed to get it to 35-45 fps by use OpenGL and turning audio of. Why is the game so slow?

I have been playing Mario Sunshine, Mario Power Tennis and Mario Soccer and they all run at full speed.

This is my favourite game and it is a shame I can't play it. Thanks for your help.

Hi I just downloaded the latest version of Dolphin and changed a few settings and I am getting 60fps!!!!!!! I am so happy now. The games seems to be a bit to fast but that is probably because I have been so use to it being slow. Thanks for your help!!!!!
