Hi, I'm new here ^^ and I'm trying to figure out exactly how to map the buttons to use the emulator. I have 2 questions. (both are about pad settings not wiimote)

1) For my xbox controller, connected to my computer wirelessly, I click the button that say to enable it but then when I press a button to map it, none of the 360 buttons work. This is the only instance in which they don't work, for other PC games it works great. So I'm just wondering exactly how to map the buttons, and do i need to get a new plugin?

and

2) I have the buttons for the Pad mapped as "x" for A and "z" for B. Whenever I press these buttons while emulating a game they don't seem to work and my computer makes a "sticky keys" noise. The game(Super Mario Galaxy) btw) somehow recognizes I'm pressing something because the "press a and b button text bounces whenever I press a button that should be working as my emulated controller and not others. Please help!
As long as you're using the kb/x360 plugin, the 360 controller is automatically mapped so you can use it straight away.

My Dolphin came with the Dolphin SimplePad Plugin...
How do get this plugin you speak of? It did not come with my emulator and I can't seem to find a download page for anything but just the emulator.
Try downloading a different build of dolphin... mine works fine with just plugging it in, im using 3402 x64 but x86 should be the same and newer versions should also have this working Big Grin

The Xbox Controller has got to be the most easiest to map out of all the other one's in the world. Do what he says and have a nice day.
this doesn't work with Tales of Symphonia 2, just a fyi.
Tales of Symphonia 2 is Wii game, it won't work with keyboard plugin, but with Wiimote plugin
Use Xpadder to xbox.

How do you setup Xpadder? Also, where do I download the kb/x360 plugin?
Please help!!
First you need a controller profile... click the controller icon and select new. Xpadder should detect your 360 controller. Then you must go through all the button categories and make sure all of the controller's buttons are part of the profile. Afterwards you can make different button mapping profiles for that controller, press the icon that looks like a paper with stuff written on it and select new. Now you can map buttons to the controller.
