PAL Brawl should not give the insert disc error, unless you just converted the NTSC version to PAL. Check that you are using the latest revision, it started working around r2650

I was saying that a NTSC version of SSBB converted to PAL with programs such as regioenfrii won't fix the problem. If it's true what you say that your SSBB is original PAL 7.9 GB and you are using the latest Dolphin revision, but still get the error, I have no means of helping you. Try downloading Dolphin again, just get r2811 from Lannyboy, to be sure that you have the latest Dolphin correctly compiled.
i've been getting this issue as well. i do have the US version, so i can see why it won't work. but i can play games with the jit activated on the 4434 build, so i'm not exactly sure what i'm doing wrong. should i convert the iso to pal, or scrub the image?
The US Version DOESN'T WORK. And it also has to be a real PAL not just NTSC TO PAL converted
Has there been any progress on this issue, is anyone working on it? Is it legal to download the pal version if you have the ntsc version?
