hello, as soon the site said SSBB was playable on dolphin ive got a copy of it.
problem is that when i boot it up on dolphin it gives me sorta blue screen writen on big nintendo'ish font.
"Please insert Super Smash Bros Brawl game disc"
than thers nothing i can do about it.... whats wrong? do i have to do something else?
i play GC games normaly

since is a mult5 version i guess its european, but i dunno if its pal, since here on my country u get lots of weird products that comes from anywhere.
I have the same problem. I have an ntsc to pal version of smash, and i get the same error. Also it says the emulation is broken. Please any insight to this matter would help me . thx
Insight: SSBB is not properly fixed. For PAL there is just a hack that makes it run, but with many crashes. For NTSC the hack would have to be converted because of different memory adresses (I think) and only fires, who made the hack, would be able to do that. But he won't spend time converting the hack, instead the devs are working on properly fixing the game.
Okay, i have 1 question the wii emulator supports the us version (ntsc format) of the game ? or the Pal version . Which one is less buggy if it supports both ?
I think you have to have the PAL version to play the game.
well, i have the pal version so why can't i play the game!. What could I be doing wrong?

There could be lots of things,post your specs and configuration. Check here

I load the smash and it says please insert the disk...
I haven't changed any wii configs from default. I toyed around with other settings but nothing is working.
My smash copy is ntsc to pal converted.
