Its weird, all tracks that I have tried will run @ 60fps using the "hacked buffer upload" option apart from Sand Ocean. That track will lock to a solid 30fps all the way round, even in the indoor parts. This is the same bug/issue that I mentioned in this thread earlier.

Hopefully someone else will confirm the same problem so I can prove that it isnt just my rig.
Ignore the comments about sand ocean. I completely forgot about the "Skip EFB Access from CPU" option turning off the heat haze effect. Now that track runs at a solid 60 aswell.
Is this game even possible to run at full 60fps without dips? I tried running the game with no AA of any kind and resolution set to the Window size which was 640x480. In game I would get an average of 30fps during the race. In character select screen It was at 36fps with the same settings. I would think my system would be more than adequate enough for this game but if I am having these kinds of problems with such low settings then you would need an PC from like 2030 to able to handle the game...

PC specs

I5 3570 4.5ghz
2GB 6950

Oh and Dolphin version is 3.5 rev.1348

Yeah, I'm starting to realize no matter what kind of specs your PC rig has, you're still not going to be able to run the game at full 60fps all the time. I still can't get a rock solid 60fps at all times on my rig no matter what settings I use in Dolphin. Don't get me wrong it *IS* 60fps about a good 75% of the time, but you'll need a PC from the year 2075 to provide the juice required to run this game at 60fps flatout with no drops whatsoever. Oh well, I'm still extremely grateful to Skid for making F-zero happen in the first place Smile
Is your CPU better than mine?!? My average is 30-40fps and since the fps is so low it makes the sound all static-y and skecthy like. In otherwords its not worth it being on.
fade2black001: Disable Sync GPU in the game properties. You'll have random resets, but they aren't bad, and you'll have vastly superior performance. No, I don't get why it's enabled either. It's performance is worse than single core, and this is the only game it's enabled for.
OK thanks that worked.
OT but no F-Zero sequel announcement from Nintendo at this years' E3. Silly Nintendo Undecided

Oh well, I'll just enjoying GX Cool

There's actually at least two other games that its enabled for as well.
What are the settings to make this game run properly? I can't seem to get it to behave. It runs at 5-20 FPS on the demo screen. I can't get past the menus either. I go back to the Sega logo if I select any menu option. I wonder if my dump is bad.
