I have a similar problem where the cursor will only reach 3/4 up the screen, so I can not select my 4th player in my team and VS mode.
Right click cursor buttons in the emulated Wiimote configuration, change the scale from 100 to 200 on each of the buttons.
I have a strange issue ... when I need to defend Mega Strikes, "defending screen" seems to stutter (also FPS seems to falloff a little) ...
Strange is, that match itself is fluent 60fps ... only defending Mega Strikes seems to have this problem ...
Hi everyone, me and my friend want to play mario strikers charged in versus mode togheter, but we can't manage to make it work. I red a lot of forums posts on other websites adressing this issue and tried different things like we both erase dolphin configuration file and do the same parameters form configuration to the wiimote emulation (him in position 1 me in 2) but it still does not work. We can get in the Netplay lobby, then, when we try to start the game, it just goes blackscreen. We both have dolphin 5.0-1334 and we can play gamecube games togheter too.

+1 - no special settings. It's been like this for me across multiple systems and multiple versions of dolphin. Where should I start the troubleshooting process?
My friends and I are trying to play Mario strikers on the wii using Netplay, but once we load up the game together it just shows a black screen and nothing loads. I’m able to play the game alone without net play but it’s just boring without my friends. Does anyone have a sokoto this problem as we’ve been trying for a couple of days now and have not gotten it to work yet.

Try disabling dual core.

Thank you for the suggestion but sadly that didn’t fix the problem. I’m running the latest developer versions and still having the black screen problem when playing Mario strikers Wii on Netplay. Do you have any other suggestions? If not then thank you for all the help you’ve done.

Hi there, like I've seen here and a few other places, Netplay just refuses to boot the game past the black screen. I'm curious if anyone has actually gotten a netplay session to work at all with this game. I have a couple buddies of mine who are very well experiencing the same thing and the only work around I have figured out is assigning the game as a default ISO and running a Wii Menu WAD on netplay, which needs multiple tries till we don't desync, and it works magically well when it does. It's not a fun work around by the way being very inconsistent. I've spent more hours than I've kept track of in the past few months experimenting with ridiculous configurations and methods just to try to run the game itself on netplay and no luck.
I've lately attempted to run the game on netplay on Ubuntu and experiencing the same thing.
Parsec isn't a fun option if someone else that isn't the host has to experience input delay
