EDIT: Oh I see. Can you please test XA2 backend too? It'd be really helpful
EDIT2: Nvm it still happens even with Cubeb. After I skip all the cutscenes that happen after the elevator ride the game freezes at 0 FPS. Can you please post your full GPU config?
You should try the Dolphin Bisection tool. Will help you find the faulty build.

Hello,
I have an issue with this game with the PAL version. I just have launch a new game, everything is smooth (50FPS), but when i'm getting spotted or shot, I'm experiencing huge FPS drop for 1 to 3 seconds.
It usually starts when the sound+warning icon "you have been spotted" is showing up.
I have try every render, and a lot of different option... Have you any solution ?
Are you using High Performance profile in Windows?
Also, try using Async Ubershaders.

Yeah I am.
I have tried every type of Shader Compilation : it is all the same

Ok, I have found something... interesting !
If in the controller setting, I don't map the Rumble "Motor", I don't get freeze anymore ! :o
That's really weird... Is it the first time you see an issue like this ?

Interesting! Have you opened an issue in the issue tracker? At least I haven't heard of it.

I though your problem is was only audio noises, something triggering all that problems..
I'm using Cubeb for specific reason, one is lower latency and synth audio-video the other one is Dolby Pro Logic II
Explanation is on this progress article: Dolphin Progress Report: April and May 2018
Can you post me your Backend Graphical API: DX11, OpenGL, or Vulkan & the Settings?
Also you have clean installation of latest nvidia drivers and clean installation of latest dolphin-emu version with portable.txt inside the folder?

I'm having issues running this game.
During the opening cut scene, the screen flashes bright purple, and in all codex calls the background is a navy blue instead of black.
When I get detected by a guard and he starts shooting, the game slows down and the audio loudly distorts.
Lastly, the L button keeps getting pressed even when I'm not holding it down.
Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fox this?
Thanks!
Does this happen on the latest dev build?

You'll have to disable Store XFB Copies to RAM Only to fix this. (If you're on the 5.0 stable release, you'll instead have to set XFB to Real, which has the side effect of reducing the resolution to the native resolution of the GameCube/Wii. I would suggest updating to a newer version of Dolphin.)

That sounds like your computer is just having trouble running the game at full speed. Not sure why that would happen specifically when a guard starts shooting, though.

I have no idea about this problem.
