Was there ever a release of a widescreen code for the NTSC version of this game? Tried looking up tutorials for porting codes, but it's pretty far out of my skillset to read the broken english on those websites to dive into that kind of coding.
There's a 60hz code and widescreen code of r the Pal version, which is what I have. Yet I am having the issues I mentioned above.

Hi guys
im trying to run this game as perfect as I can using dolphin-stable-5.0-rc-23-x64 .
first problem is I get random fps drop for a moment randomly like when the soldier seen me and the red alert start or just random moment other then that that game solid and stable
2nd problem is when I open the the radio menu the screen get some weird colors/glitch  , this problem can get fixed when I active External Frame Buffer (XFB) to Real but this make the resolution so bad ><

I just finished playing MGS The Twin Snakes disc 1, and when i get into the communication tower and I change to disc 2, the changing massage disappeared but im stuck on a black screen that only has the game's logo. The FPS counter shows 0. Any fix for that?
im not to far in to this game but im running it on dolphin 4.0 7630 at 4k with 4k internal resolution and 2x masa SSA and the game runs fine. there is a slight fps drop when fire fight starts but it gose back to normal again..so for the most part so far the game runs great..my only problem is i have to stretch the screen to get fullscreen mode to work. using force auto or 16.9 results in a black borderd screen. and using the widescreen fix brings in graphics disapearing on the sides of the screen were the black borders would be. besides this its awsome..if anyone knows a fix for widescreen please let me no. thanks

Sadly, Dolphin have serious graphic ssues in this game (post process effects not emulated?).

I have the same problem!

I'm using a pal version of The Twin Snakes, and this AR codes :
16:9 Aspect Ratio (Widescreen) - PTR Version [Ralf] or ASM Version [Ralf],
but it doesn't go in widescreen Sad, help! (yes , i enabled "force 16:9" and cheats)

Sorry for my english! Sad

I have the pal version with 5.0-rc-27 and also have some issues:

Random fps drops, in cutscenes i have 25 fps and normal game is between 30 to 50,
but my pc could handle stable 50 or 60 fps.
When I open the the radio menu i get some strange colors.
The water on the beginning of the game is not correct.

1)Change "Backend" to Direct3D for better fps (25 on cutscenes is normal anyway)

2)Check "Store EFB copies to texture only" for the radio color bug Smile

3)Audio: DSP LLE recompiler for prevent crashes

4)Don't "exit" temporarily while in game for prevent crashes (for example, to look facebook xD), just save and reboot emulator.

5) Set internal resolution based on your Pc Hardware of course, i used 3x native. (Antialiasing is very bad for gpu, only for good pc ! )

6)Sorry for my english
